+usa gal if you put regular salt on the garlic, it turns green or blue sometimes. so it means it was close to that salt. if you use coarse salt, that wont happen because its not iodized.
+usa gal thank you glad you like it :)you can also boil it with just water, nothing happens just make sure to cool it down before adding vinegar
PUMPKIN PIE "CHEESECAKE" RECIPE (Gluten Free + Dairy Free)
I'm a little bit late posting this (thanksgiving is over haha) but I still wanted to share this amazing recipe for a "semi raw" pumpkin pie cheesecake! Dairy and ...
So I used the 3 tsp cornstarch to 1 C water and although delicious didn't have that lovely 'cheesecake' texture. Next time I'll try arrowroot and increase the quantity to make it thicker and yummier. More updates to follow. I'm determined to get this right as a lowfat vegan option!
I'm making it again today, but instead of all of the coconut oil I'm going to try using a substitution of 'thick water'. It uses arrowroot or cornstarch and water as a thickening. I'll still leave the coconut in the crust for richness. Will let you now how it turns out!
Those are the best! Really, just buy some. Try it out.Just put 4 nuts in a little pouch and put it in your washing machine, normal program (any program you like to use)If you want you can use some essential oil (colourless) (put some in your detergent drawer) for a nice smell and voila, clean clothes :D
It looks amazing!!!!! But is it safe to take it to your friends who live
far away? I am afraid that coconut oil will melt down and everything will
became a paste until I am there... :)
+Vilma Valančiūnaitė hahaha I love it. But I understand how you feel. Do you live in a hot place? Coconut oil melts to a liquid at 78 degrees F. I am sure you could find a way to create a makeshift cooler that will insulate it. Pinterest often helps with these things :)
I always find your videos to be interesting, highly entertaining, and
well-presented and your recipes are very easy to follow. This time I
noticed that you have what we call a gas (kerosene cooker, I believe)
stove, so I am very happy for you. Is this new, or am I still fairly
unobservant? In any case, thank you for sharing your very charming
combination of knowledge, intelligence, and especially, your most excellent
sense of humor. Thank you!
so i jumped to your website to check what you meant by dahl and tried to
google it with context search, you need to select the text to do that... I
HATE YOUR WEBSITE, I THINK THIS IS THE SHITTIEST THING I SEEN LATELY but
since i wasn't done being lazy and only using my mouse (which is also very
convenient for disabled persons) i just disabled javascript, i will dislike
your videos from now on
It's true that moong dahl is made from mung beans. As a type of lentil, the
mung is de-hulled and split for mung dahl. Mung beans, are one of nature's
super-foods. If you buy them whole? Thy may be sprouted for mung sprouts an
extremely nutritious food. In any form they are delicious and combined with
rice, preferably brown, form a perfect protein.
Titli.... wanna tell you something! I've made sponge cakes many times but
tried yr method nd it came out so well ... U r amazing, so enthusiastic and
so simple. I love ur recipes. Btw im a South Indian! This dal is cooked
commonly in the brahmin houses I.e pure vegetarians just like mine! :-)
Boy does it delight me when I look at my cuisine on an international page
like yours! Most South Indian households, though, would be more likely to
use Toor dal (split pigeon pea) instead of Mung dal. We would also add
Sambhar powder to the mix. The rest of it was spot on.
Titli aunty ji so happy to see this beautiful veg recipe with kaddu! You
have made it look very lovely in the serving bowl. Because we are in the
north we do not use coconut usually in sabzi dish so we are very eager to
try it. Have you truly grown it your self?
The stove burns natural gas (i.e. methane) which is piped to most homes in
the UK. I've cooked on gas for most of my life as I love its
responsiveness. The actual stove top is about a year old and replaced a
design that I found difficult to clean.
Can we soak the daal till it's a little softer before adding it to the
turmeric? I'm a Pakistani who loves South Indian food.have some They have
some really yummy dishes e.g. Upma, uttapa etc. They make for great
breakfasts! *Yum*
So YUMMY! I'm rather partial to a pumpkin curry and this one looks like a
very tasty variation. Nice idea about the chapati as well. And maybe some
of Titli's lovely lime pickle I made last November....Oh I'm famished now!
:-)
Ah koottu - for us 'Southies', this be soul food - wonderful blend of
flavours. I'd throw in a few curry leaves with the mustard seeds for the
tempering but this looks fabulous Titli. Nom nom nom.
Wow I've just come back to this channel today. I used to watch you all the
time about a year or so ago with my friend. I love your sense of humour and
recipes. It's so interesting to watch!
This sounds great - are you planning a stuffed pumpkin with the other one?
I'm looking for a good recipe for stuffed pumpkin with, say, chicken and
mushroom inside.
