Hi! I really liked your recipe. I was wondering how you made your brown rice blend? Thank you!
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CAx9_gmRLBs/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAGo/BWGDWHs533E/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Samantha Sue Awesome, Samantha! Thank you ^__^ The brown rice blend I used is a mixture of brown rice with brown sweet rice. You can find the pre-blended ones at Korean grocery, or make them on your own. Blend them 1:1 ratio. Here is the brown sweet rice I found online, //amzn.to/1LJ1PKaGood luck!HG

Nice channel. I love bibimbap. When I was in Korea I seem to remember this being served with a raw egg. Is that common?
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1qA3esNQ3ZE/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAB_c/mtUozR-ruKY/photo.jpg?sz=64
+David Row Thanks. Egg can be raw or cooked. I prefer mine cooked. :)

I love how easy you make it look! Definitely going to give it a try this week. Btw, I've watched at least 5 other tutorials on how to make bimbimbap and this was the one that totally caught my eye and made my mouth water.

Is it in fact one of those dishes that a little tweaking is allowed to suit personal tastes or requirements without losing the essence of what it is ? I can't eat mushrooms of any variety, so can I get away without having those and still have an authentic experience ? Equally is there a substitute you would recommend instead of mushrooms for people like myself. Ty in advance.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-1qA3esNQ3ZE/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAB_c/mtUozR-ruKY/photo.jpg?sz=64
+James O'Halloran Yes, Bibimbap can be altered to suit individual's needs/preference. Instead of mushrooms, you could add other mild vegetables. (e.g. //mykoreankitchen.com/2015/08/01/sauteed-korean-cucumber-side-dish/). If you prefer spicy kinds these two are also good alternatives too. (//mykoreankitchen.com/2015/04/04/korean-spicy-cucumber-salad/ and //mykoreankitchen.com/2006/12/12/thinly-sliced-radish-kimchi-mu-saengchae-in-korean/) Hope you give like it!

hi i dont knbow if you respond to comments but maybe someone else will help me ive recently decided to at minimum massi vely cutdown on meat if not im gonna stop altogether but im having trouble working milk out of my diet particularly as i generally use it as a snack wondering if anyone has ideas i dont have a juicer and i also find juices dont sastify the hunger like milk does
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-o08LpuuAmQ4/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABk/yDuAvaDaiBg/photo.jpg?sz=64
+flawlessgenius as others are guiding you here, there are a myriad of non-dairy milks out there to buy...I would only also suggest you avoid the ones with an ingredient called "carageenan" ... Silk brand sells their almond milk without it. Just a tip & good luck! Sounds like you've made some great decisions towards eating healthy!
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Bg8JTNr416k/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAEOA/4ZVYpHpMcHM/photo.jpg?sz=64
+flawlessgenius Hello I don't drink cows milk either and I Iike to use Soy Milk because it's one that can easily be available to me. You should try the Silk Brand or like Rice Dream. The are some other brands out there also have you seen other vegan channels? (ex: like +Sunwarrior or Jason Wrobe and there's so many more. I can't list them all from the top of my head) There's also hemp Milk, Rice Milk, Coconut Milk, Almond Milk maybe even cashew milk. You can also make your own milk like Raw Kristina and like in the raw.vegan not gross videos from taste made. Also for Soy Milk there's different ones like the unsweetened one or the original etc...
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LkfQGPQseq4/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACI/JueSfGzvhWE/photo.jpg?sz=64
Also dipping Oreos in coconut milk is sooo good.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LkfQGPQseq4/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACI/JueSfGzvhWE/photo.jpg?sz=64
Coconut milk is amazing. It's naturally sweet too. Try and get alpro coconut milk as I believe that's the nicest.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+flawlessgenius i think the best way to avoid milk is doing some research. Look up how cows are treated in the industry. Educate yourself. And if you don't care about the animals, check out what the dairyindustry does to the planet. Or just try plantmilk. there are so many different milks in the shops, just try and find your favourite :)
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-wTI01ROYV0Q/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAEc/GJlzrstJ0nk/photo.jpg?sz=64
Try a cow milk alternative, almond milk is a favourite of mine, soy milk is also popular, it depends where you live, but I live in the UK there is a big selection of different kinds and flavours :)

You're welcome.  Great idea with the spicy condiment. I didn't have it at the time but now, I always put a lot of Ssamjang in my bibimbap or any Korean dish I make for that matter. If you want it spicier, you can use gochujang instead.
