Spaghetti Bolognaise is one of the most popular dishes to come out of Italy... Everybody loves this Italian classic. It's cheap, easy and really tasty. Our version is ...
This chef is chatting shit, spaghetti bolanaise is not Italian food lol my
auntie's partner (who is from Rome) had never heard of it before coming to
England , it's an English attempt at Italian food but I've never known an
Italian to say they've enjoyed it!
!!!!! Italians would never eat SPAGHETTI Bolognese omGGGGGGG, don't say
this recipe comes out of Italy. Bolognese is traditionally eaten with flat
pasta or Penne. Also, Bolognese is slow cooked for sometimes over a day.
This is a disgrace.
sorry, but your recipes are clearly not that professional, you're some
likeable guys, but your recipes are clearly marketed towards the average "I
got 30 min to cook" mom, not a fan, sorry, but you can get something which
is literally a hundred times better, not that this tastes bad, but it's
mediocre
+Matt Woodcock And you've obviously missed that this video doesn't live up to that target.I generally like the channel and some of the recipes, but this recipe is flat-out awful. It's not about a twist they've given it that some will love and other will hate, like how british people often put mushrooms in their bolognese (personally I find that awful) - that's perfectly fine, it's the direction they take the flavour to. Yet not browning the meat is simply taking out a layer of flavour (and then trying to make up for it by using not stock, but a stock cube), that''s not (just) a direction, but depth. So is not adding a bit of sugar to a savoury dish, especially if it contains tomato. And not cooking the red wine away before adding all the other things to get rid of the raw wine flavour isn't really what you want either, is it? There are other things I'd do very differently (there's a reason why people get mushrooms wet, dry and then wet again), but these are the simplest and most clear-cut issues that popped into my head.I know exactly what this recipe tastes like, because, except for the mushrooms, I've made bolognese this way a bunch of times and I was always disappointed. It's not just mediocre, it's actually awful. None of those tweaks are difficult even for someone who just started to cook . So this isn't one of those "tasty recipes which are easy to understand".From some of the other videos I've watched, the chef (Ben) appears quite competent, so I'm offended by a recipe like this, as it's not incapacity, but rather laziness and a lack of concern that created this.
+Jesper Christensen You've obviously missed the point of this channel entirely. Barry and Jamie are meant to represent the average idiot who knows nothing about cooking. Ben's job is then to give them tasty recipes which are easy to understand.
+Jesper Christensen Your whole issue with them is laughable. If you know how to cook, you'd either get some ideas from them or you went to a cooking school in which you don't even need to watch them. Their channel provides ideas in a simple way, to show people that cooking isn't as hard as many people think, and also to give the passion to many others. This isn't a classic way of cooking, because their are loads of recipes in cooking books and even tv shows. They must add a twist, it's not baking, where you could either do it right or fuck it up, this is cooking, cook it according to your taste. You remind me of a flat mate of mine, who didn't know how to cook to save his life, and keeps asking me how to cook simple dishes, to the point where he asks how much milligrams of salt should he add.
+Lily Weitzman it's mediocre at best. Good prep is key, it's really not that complicated to do a proper bolognese, simmering is what takes the longest, and there's barely any work there.
You've essentially hit the nail on the head, but in the worst way possible. The whole point of their channel is to take classic or complicated recipes and make them easy, while still getting the same or similar results. They have a few recipes that are a bit more "professional" as you said, but no, their channel is to make things easier for us.
Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce Recipe | Marco Pierre White
Watch Chef Marco Pierre White as he makes his version of a classic - a bolognese sauce recipe. An easy recipe from Knorr. This take on a spaghetti bolognese ...
Why did he have the basil sitting right next to everything if he wasn't
going to use it?
Also, are basil and/or oregano traditionally used in bolognese, or are they
only used in the tomato sauce?
Using Knorr is not going to kill you, idiots. He's sponsored by Knorr so of
course he advertise Knorr product. You DON'T have to use Knoor if you don't
want to.
There are other poisonous food products that are worst than Knorr. I've
been using Knorr for over 20 years without health issue.
+Callin' from springfeeel yeah, how do you make the tomato sauce is my point, it's the most important part of this dish and they didn't mention how he made it lol
canned tomatoes or a simple homemade sauce works great.
