Acceleration Forces

Human beings are adapted to live and survive within the ever-present, accelerative force of gravity. While on earth, this is a constant, and we live and function ...

Wouldn't the black ball experience less air resistance, and air buoyancy? What if you also take into account the difference in volume which also results in different air resistance? also, rougher surface makes air to slip through easier for basketball I think? Just like the reason golf balls have pits.

The surface area of the balls are the same so no

My theory is this. We have all been duped by corrupt science and out conclusions are based on that standard. Now if this standard is corrupt then our conclusion is also corrupt. This means, we are all wrong because the source is wrong. The source being the corrupt science filter. My theory is this. There is no gravity but rather out down force is based on our body mass. Or matter mass. Greater mass = greater down force. Currently we are told the down force is created by spinning ball earth but if this is true, then with out own added mass, we would all die. So we need to eradicate the spin and create still. Now we are simply held down by our own weight. The next minor and subtle problem is globe. If the common science is once again corrupt on this, then the globe earth to has to be false. If we did have a stagnant globe earth, the ocean would run due to the curve. We need to remove the curve so the oceans can sit. Hence we have giant pot holes. If we have giant pot holes, we need a flat model. Or a flat earth. Now the waters sit based on there own mass and not the spinning earth standard. This to would make more sense for us. If all things are on a plate, then simply they are held down by there own mass. So there is no down force we are told is gravity. There is how ever the force created by "us".

To be precise, the black(heavier) object actually hits the ground first if it has the same size as the basketball. It is, because of the air drag. Its not a big difference in this short height example, but it is there. Try it from a 30-40m high tower and you will see the difference.

+xCroSs LuMiNouS I see. Well i'm glad there are people who care to educate themselves if they lack some knowledge. Keep it up good Sir!

+Toppantó Bence Nothing. I just didn't understand drag at that time.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+xCroSs LuMiNouS Yes. What is your point?
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MIiZyOfZM6A/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAF8/5V5p4XCyHT8/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Toppantó Bence their surface area looks the same.

+BlueCosmology You are right good sir. To be honest, i do not like to be troll-like, but i thought it should be said, that Veritasium made a relatively small, but significant mistake, not mentioning the effect of air drag on the objects.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Mystertman85 The pressure makes absolutely no difference (an iron ball also has a pressure inside as well). The only difference is the density.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Not a big one, but ok. Switch the balloon with a plastic bag, filled with air. Same result. I only wanna point out, that air drag does matter and the lighter object does fall slower. Do you disagree on that?
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
you acnt compare balloon and iron ball because balloon has a pressure inside which makes a differences
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Mystertman85 Yes, you could! Not a big one though, couple of cm's but measurable easily. If you want a better experiment, reduce the mass of the lighter object and increase the mass of the heavier! For example, a balloon, and a same size iron ball. You will see the difference from even 1 meters!Of course the point of the video, that the people in it are not clear with the terms of gravity or inertia is not wrong at all. I just wanted to point out, that we can be more precise and say, yes, the lighter object is falling slower a bit.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Omg.. you will not see a difference

Unbalanced forces do not exist, but to understand that, we must first know what a force is at all. See it explained here: watch?v=oee0-S7ipfo
