I've take 220 km/h myself (on speedometer, so it's a real 200 km/h) with my
1984 350 rdlc ypvs, but just over 9000 rpm, in 6 and it was absolutly
stock. This bike is fantastic, i've done more than 100 000 km with it and
the crankshaft was almost ok, i've mesure it just before my bike dead
against a stupid car.
I will rebuilt it as soon as possible. Excuse my english if there's some
errors, i'm french.
+Olivier Blochet A well run in RD350YPVS (the 85 ones) would go off clock npI fitter a oversized rear tire and got 125mph and that was verified by a RD500YPVShad to fit a steering damper because a got speed wobble at about 90 never did get to the bottom of it (sry youtube is messing up my formatting)
Yamaha RD350 F2 YPVS (RZ350) New toy.
A little investment and piece of nostalgia I picked up recently. I used to own one in 1990. The smell is divine! My Facebook page ...
Makes me jealous, my first new bike was a beautiful blue 1990 RZ 350, after
seeing this, I wish I still had it, nothing feels quite as good as a two
stroke coming on the pipe !
That is stunning what a beautiful bike, how do you find modern fuel? I
think we have gone to E10 now and my X7 has had to be rejetted again, as
did my GT380
It will be in about a month and it comes with everything in the photo along
with the original parts (except for the stock exhaust and one mirror). So
essentially, the bike can be put back to original condition pretty much.
Also this bike is a bit taller than the stocker (more like a modern sport
bike). Thanks for looking, Mike
On board video of this spectacular Kenny Roberts edition Yamaha ridden the was it was meant to. At 2:40 you can hear 3-cylinder Triumph engineering. Enjoy.
