The bunch of Rockchip RK3066/RK2908 HDMI Sticks
Here's a discussion with Rockchip's TV Division Sales Manager demonstrating the range of different styles for HDMI Sticks based on the Rockchip RK3066 ...
My guess is the Android firmware is modified to hardware accelerate
mirroring. So it's not just an app to run on top of any Android with good
performance. They communicate over wifi direct, bluetooth, over wifi
hotspot or anything.

Archos Gamepad, gameplay demo including the N64/NES emulator
Playing videogames is the top activity that consumers do on tablets. So Archos is releasing this awesome thin, light and very well prices $149 Archos Gamepad.
You should believe it. All "basic tablets" with RK3066 have super smooth
4.1 already on display. Archos confirmed to me and I know that this Archos
Gamepad ships with 4.1 pre-installed. I think Archos customizes a part of
the OS for its button mapping stuff, maybe they also optimize stuff
elsewhere in there, that is the main reason why I think they were showing
4.0 for now. The main reason it may get delayed to end November, early
December, is to allow Archos factories ramp up to satisfy demand.
I heard there was a new firmware upgrade from Archos that fixed most of the
bugs. I also heard it couldn't play Max Payne or GTA 3, but I heard Vice
City worked. Also, the GamePad comes with an app to safely root your
device, probably meaning you can run those games after rooting it. Android
devs can be weird. I heard if some devices match the requirements, they
just won't work anyway. My Galaxy player can run Shadowgun but not Modern
Combat: Sandstorm, so that's weird, but I'd say a good exampl
I don't know if it gets delayed. If the whole world wants to buy the
Gamepad, unless they do some financial tricks with resellers investing in a
quick manufacturing cycle and a quick expansion of manufacturing capacity,
then Archos may choose to slightly delay the release just so they have the
time to manufacture and deliver more products to a wider range of
resellers, thus have enough stock to satisfy a larger demand on release
day. They may also choose to release and let it go out of stock.
Onlive is a really cool streaming service, just make sure you have a good
internet connection in roder to stream games at a good speed. Also, Onlive
for Android has touch screen controlls as an option, so even if the
Gamepad's controlls don't work with Onlive, you could map the Gamepad's
controlls to Onlive's touch screen controlls. I just need to decide between
this and the nvidia Project Shield. I'll decide once nvidia announces a
price for their new handheld. Both great devices!
I read some negative reviews on this. When it's released in the US is it
going to have all the bugs fixed, like the mapping glitch, and it running
slow, and freezing with the 3D games? And is it also going to be compatible
with games like gta 3, and max payne? Because I read that people tried to
download those games and it said that it couldn't download because the the
gamepad didn't match the system requirments. So are these bugs going to be
fixed when it is released in the US?
Sony's d-pads were never actually fully segmented. They were a single piece
of plastic with indents to get around a Nintendo patent. This tablet
appears to have a separate piece of plastic for each direction. The reason
Vita uses a much tighter design is due to Nintendo's patent expiring. Not
coincidently, Vita's d-pad is one of the best d-pads used in a mainstream
video game device. I don't know why Archos chose this style.
the second version of this should have a haswell processor, a 13 mp on the
back, a digital pen, speakers on the top and bottom vessel of the scream,
with the game buttons on the same sides and a 8 inch display, with sim card
slot and hd 1080p front face camera with hdmi, usb, nfc, bluetooth, wifi,
sd card slot, and 2 extra sholder buttons and if sony makes this then they
could add the playstation store with android store
Ok awesome. I was also looking at the nvidia project shield, and I am also
waiting for the price and an exact release date. Besides I couldn't get the
archos anyways because it hasn't been released in the US yet. So right now
I'm just doing as much research on both to try and find out as much info as
I can. If the project shield is over $300 it won't last long, and I'd just
buy the archos.
I agree with most of what you say, but faster? Not at all. Its an Android
device, meaning it has access to any android software, making it instantly
multiple use, but it lacks the varied input and overall horsepower of the
vita. Which in MY opinion is to be expected for such a fantastic price.
This device is awesome in my opinion.
Ok thanks that really is good to know. I have also discovered this thing
called onlive that allows you to play actual console games on your android
device as long as you have a separate gamepad. So hopefully onlive will
recognize the archos as a gamepad. and you'll be able to play call of duty.
Allow me to list some reasons, World of Goo, Splice, Bit Trip Beat, Uplink,
Avadon, Machinarium, GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, Black Ops Zombies, Emulators,
Minecraft, Terraria, Shadowgun. As well as these great games, we've got
books, films, music, and general apps like Office suites.
It does! 4.1 is installed at launch. They just need to port their
customizations over, takes them a week or two, that's why it's on 4.0 at
the time that I filmed this demo. Rockchip RK3066 has impressively smooth
4.1 support, fully hardware accelerated.
Srs? By that logic the PSP was a rip off of the GBA ... It's a frikkin
gamepad! What do you expect??? Besides, as much as I don't mind the Vita,
it's got nothing going for it ... no good games and the hardwares going to
waste...
you can use a ps3 controller on the nexus 7 and there might be a price drop
on the nexus 7 from 200 to $149. the nexus 7 is a asus and google product
so the device will receive up dates before any other phones and/or tablets
dont really believe that. but i would be cool though =) can you say
anything for the releasedate? FCC gave "ok". but archos said to me per mail
(last week) that it WONT be release until end november. maybe december.
I wouldve loved to see them try Nova or Modern Combat on this. Ive been
swaying back and forth between so many tablets and if this hits the less
than $200 mark then its definitely a day one buy for me.

слабее mali400 mp4 533mhz
