This won't be popular but I disagree. Flood insurance is hardly ever included in homeowners insurance. It's up to the homeowners and renters to know what's covered and buy flood insurance if they want it ahead of time. There's always a month or two delay on insurance and it's up to you to get coverage ahead of time if you think you might need it. Read the fine print. Ask questions. Be responsible and prepared. As far as shooting executives I hope everyone knows you're kidding.

absolutely right. another great vid and another reason why I don't even bother watching the mainstream news anymore. The flood was mainly covered by all the local tenn. news channels. Anderson Cooper and CNN took their sweet time getting down here; all the while not reporting on real issues with the flood such as insurance corps not paying or only paying for wall damage, and also some of the looting that happened.

I so agree with you. In the '08 flood here many people didn't have flood insurance because they didn't live in a flood plain. It's not just down there. Insurance co. are out to make money, NOT to help people. There isn't a politician on ANY side that isn't for the insurance co. I just came from TN. It is bad there. Help another American if you can.

dserti i lost my home about a year ago to a propane explosion(not my fault) and travelers insurance was obsolutly awesome! they covered everything and gave us the max for a totaled home . when we bought a new home though the agent tried to screw us for 4k a year coverage . the adjuster striagtened them out though

Ellen isn't inferring that she's surprised an Asian was born and raised in the US. Her show is filmed in Los Angeles, she means, "You were born and raised right here, in LA, where we're at?" like wow, what a coincidence.
