I was referring to his introduction in the VDT book (Ch. 1): 'You might
call it - and indeed it was - a Mouse. But then it was a Mouse on its hind
legs and stood about two feet high. A thin band of gold passed round its
head under one ear and over the other and in this was stuck a long crimson
feather. (As the Mouse's fur was very dark, almost black, the effect was
bold and striking.) Its left paw rested on the hilt of a sword very nearly
as long as its tail.'
i am a massive fan of the narnia series. they are what first sparked the
flame in my heart for reading as is, and puddle was one of my most
remembered characters from my reading of the silver chair. complex but
simple, wise yet relatable! he is truely an awesome character
I've missed your videos. I love Puddleglum too. I know the BBC adaptations
have their many and varied faults, but I think Tom Baker did a wonderful
job with Puddleglum.
Keep posting! You have a dedicated group that loves to hear your insights
and comments. Just to keep you honest, though, Reepicheep was introduced in
PC, not VDT. :^)
