+basement gerard I don't understand it, too. Sure it has changed, but it is still awesome and I wouldn't be such a big fan of them, if it weren't for all their different styles I can listen to everytime.
+OPFreak34 yes, and I don't understand fans who don't respect mcr's band progression, sure the sounds changed but what they have is still amazing, just different, plus they're people, so their sound is going to evolve with their lives
welcome to the comments section where 90% of comments are people with MCR
profile pictures saying " I was (insert age here) when this album came out,
what was i doing with my life"
Okay... are there any MCR fans left that aren't like 11-13 year olds? Btw
there's nothing wrong with that age, but it's just sad that A LOT of
older teens/young adults kind of ditched MCR and never looked back. It's
like it has this reputation as being 12 year old "emo" music.... and those
older people don't want to be a part of that group. Makes me wanna cry
'cause I don't have any friends my age that like MCR (they like stuff like
One Direction). I wish more people could recognize that their lyrics
actually have SO MUCH meaning to them, and they were SUCH TALENTED
musicians. Really wish they were still together. :(
I'm a 23 yr old that found this comment section. when I was 13 it was weird to be emo and my music taste developed to punk rock like the screamers and gorilla biscuits. I wish I still had the T-shirt and album so young kids would buy it for more than the $10 I paid for both.
+amelia Yeah... I'm the same way. I'm pretty much the opposite of "emo" besides the fact that I listen to this music and occasionally wear band merchandise. I'm not exactly an all around "happy go-lucky" person... but I don't sulk around and complain all the time, like some self-classified "emos" do. It's super annoying when people classify someone in a stereotypical way just because of their taste in music. Many of my friends (and other people) give me funny looks whenever I mention something about MCR. So I totally know where you're coming from.Gerard is also a huge inspiration to me due to personal reasons and the fact that I would like to one day go into the music industry (though not as a band member... but as a professional cellist).I'll keep that Frank Iero comment in mind. XD
+Michaela Price I feel this so hard..i'm 17 and they're hands down my favourite band of all time. As soon as somebody our age hears you listen to mcr they automatically shove you under this gross stereotype and its so ironic because i am literally the complete opposite of emo in every aspect. Tbh kinda wish i didn't love them as much as i do just to save myself the judgement from other people but there's something about their music that i can't find anywhere else and it really speaks to me and they're just all round really incredible people, Gerard especially has been such an inspiration to me but i won't elaborate on that because i will be here for 27 years. Anyways just wanted to let you know that you're not alone and if anyone ever needs to cry over frank iero i am your go-to gal.
+Michaela Price I'm 21 and I've been listening to MCR faithfully since I was around 11 or 12. I kinda stopped listening to them for awhile after they broke up just because it made me kinda sad, but I've started listening to them regularly again recently. I still consider them to be one of my favourite bands of all time.
YES it was seriously amazing. i mean he was so nice and of course, it was like he looked so normal or something it was like meeting a friend that I've known for a long time because I've gotten through a lot with the band and they've been there for me forever! I know exactly what you mean it's not just the band and it's not just the music, I feel like they're all about the stories that they tell. I was so excited to meet Gerard, but I am praying for the other members to come by me so I can either see them in their new bands or anything really!
+Carolyn Drahuse OMG you met Gerard? How was he???!! I want to meet him sooo bad. I know a lot of people say that they're "just a band" and bands can't save lives.... but they can. They have saved so many lives just with music, including my own. Music is powerful stuff!
+Michaela Price I'm 17, been loving MCR since fourth grade and met gerard way at comicon last weekend. Always going to be a diehard MCR fan! They literally saved/changed my life so I'll never get over their music. They're the most inspirational people ever

+Shanetalie Fabon I've heard the facts about the smashing pumpkins and mcr wanting to do what they did, danger days taking place in 2019 etc. I want them to come back and hope the things people are saying are true but i dont really think they're coming back :(
I was 11 then. I started to follow them shortly after Revenge was released... We are old now 0_0 ( that's relative, but yes we are old compared to all the fetuses)
+Leah Stringer oh my gosh YOU A BBY MARSHMALLOW FRAND pinches your cheeks honestly tho, these guys didn't really become like HUGELY popular til their black parade album (I mean yeah they were pretty darn big before but black parade was their break out of sorts and by then I was in high school but I wasn't really into their music much outside of like 4 or 5 songs.) it wasn't til I had graduated from high school 5 years ago (roughly 2 or so years before they broke up) that I discovered the genius that is MCR XD
I'M CRYING BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL JUSTSOFUCKINTINYANDCUTELIKE?????I KNOW THEY WERE IN THEIR EARLY TWENTIES OR WHATEVER WHEN BULLETS WAS OUT, BUT I ALWAYS KIND OF "oh look they just got out of high school aw"
+Bec Simpson Cos it was filmed in like 2001/2, so they shrink the image to make it have some semblance of quality, otherwise it would be much more blurry
+You're Not Welcome To The Black Parade It's the original video from eyeball records... there's a better quality version?
