+Linda S. Buckey Yes, you can get it from sharing needles, a blood transfusion, or even be born with it (if the mother was infected it is a possibility not a guarantee).

+Linda S. Buckey You need to listen. The HIV virus is transmitted through bodily fluids e.g- Blood, semen and can be transmitted through breast feeding. So if you have ever shared a needle or gotten a dodgy blood transfusion you should be fine.
