+onpsxmember dont care if the 2011 is accurate manga what ever that is but 1999 did a great job in executing the story to more dramatic presentation, i prefer 1999 up to geneiryodan and 2011 up to greed island

+onpsxmember The 2011 version is more accurate to the manga and it doesn't have "so much missing". You'll see the foxbears by about episode 77 I think, when Gon finally meets Kite again.

+Gon Freeces Its not that I hate the old version its just that a lot of its fans are really blinded by nostalgia and hate on 2011 for no reason. Seriously if they were true fans of Hunter x Hunter they wouldnt cry so much. Its a good thing that the show is popular enough to get a remake. Besides old animation technique wouldnt be used anymore.

Instead of being happy that HxH returned after all those years they have to whine about the different animation style, music and some even whine about the lack of fillers. Ofcourse 2011 had a different animation style, they wont use old technology would they? and music couldnt just be copy pasted into the new version either. When Hunter x Hunter returns again in about 2030 with the dark continent arc I'll be happy that it returned not sit and complain like an annoying old man.

Because of Nostalgia. Though I don't like the 2011 adaptation of the Yorknew arc. The pacing was too quick, OST did not fit at times and they have omitted several of Leorio amazing feats (Opening the door by himself, Breaking a Yakuza member's arm, etc...).
