i have 359.6 latest driver and yes when i play game than it show 1400 gpu clock bt it dosn't show much effect on game, game is ac syndicate can u suggest best settings for me
+vishrut skywalker Sometimes the program doesn't support your GFX or can't find it. If you are using the new GTX 960, make sure to update to the latest drivers. Also check if you actually are running on the GFX while gaming - you can do this by using GPU-Z (free software) in the background. Here you can monitize both the integrated GFX and the Nvidia one. If you are running on the integrated - you need to go to the Nvidia Control panel and force the use of the Nvidia GFX. After doing this, Precision should show you the right numbers. Kind regards, MixZer0
+Ammar Yasser Not sure actually, try increasing little by little - the 960 should be able to handle more than the 860 due to improved technology. Hope you can use this answer. free to like/share the video and subscribe to my channel. Your support means everything! Kind Regards, MixZer0
+in your bushes Values that I used for the Lenovo Y50-70:Core clock: 100Memory clock: 250Voltage: 875I consider these settings safe. Please feel free to like/share the video and subscribe to my channel. Kind regards, MixZer0
+Divij Prakash Yes!! Definitely we get more fps with above mentioned overclocking settings you'll get around 5,6 to 10,15 fps more which depends in what game settings you are playing the game(i.e getting that more fps we can get better gaming experience).....and about the effects on system...temp wil slightly increase bt not the issue....as these Lenovo y50 featured Maxwell gpu...which has low temp..... Are you Indian???

+Nitin Syam Did you exactly got the UHD screen version? The one that costs 1.500$ around? I am a fan of that model of this laptop but I at the end couldn't get it at all for the really high price!
Would you recommend this for a gaming pc? Im not sure if should get it or
not because ive never had a laptop and i dont know much of the specs.
Please answer my question and tell me where i can buy it the cheapest. Give
me a link if you need it would be helpful. Thx
+I'm an Apple Generally notebooks are never optimized for gaming and games are obviously never optimized for being played on a notebook. This is the reason why I highly recommend people to get a personal computer for gaming and buy the best desktop they can.
there is one that has i7 4720, 16gb ram, gtx860m 4gb and 1tb of hard drive and its under 1000 dollars, 999 actually, i will buy it, i think its the best under 1000 dollars gaming laptop someone can get, its perfect for gaming, maybe the grafic card is not the best in the world but is the tipical gaming latop graphic card so nothing to complain about, if you havnt buy it, mines arrives in a couple of weeks and i can tell you how the performance is but im pretty sure i will enjoy it. check this link //shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y50/ the laptop is the one that costs 999, good luck choosing
Im new to pc/laptop gaming , I bought the Lenovo z50 and it plays games
like xcom enemy unknown perfectly , would it play ryse son of rome ?
*intel i5 processor
*Nvidia Geforce 820m graphics with 2g
* 8gb ram
are u sure you run ryse son of rome in highest setting, ryse son of rome
need very good gpu to run at highest setting with 1920x1080, it impossible
for gtx 860m to run this game at highest setting
yeah it's a decent card for gaming on laptop, but i think gtx 860m can only run this in full hd with medium setting at best, and if you to run this game in high setting, you have to lower resolution and more, to get playable fps
+gabo I played this with 30+ fps on 1600*900p ...all details ultra...never go under 25 fps and some places 40-45+ ....so dont know what to say, im happy with this laptop!
+urmom urmomThere's no fixing this problem, the card simply can't handle this game. Watch some other benchmarks of this game on the 860M, it runs like shit. miros is a liar. Just google "ryse son of rome 860M" and see for yourself.
+dampflokfreund Exactly, 1080p 60fps is impossible with this game on this laptop. Some other guy made a video of this game with an FPS counter, it doesn't run nearly as well as the uploader claims. This guy is full of shit.
+miros Ö Thank you, for some reason I couldnt run the game, but then I found out I was using the intergrated graphics haha. I can however only run this on meduim settings :(
+miros Ö dayum man i wish it could be on xbox because my computer is acctualy a laggy laptop with tons of viruses from when i was a kid and found roblox isn't that fun to many hackers
Y50 on ultra with those msi afterburner settings is playable! Although I did tweak around with High vs Low, seems like High settings vs Low settings not too much of a difference.

As always, be cautious when overclocking.I use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility for the GPU. The CPU seems to already overclock itself on it's own from 2.8 GHz to 3.4 GHz when gaming or on "high performance' power settings.
