How To Overclock Your CPU - DIY - Dr. N00Bz Lab Ep8
This is a short introduction into overclocking your CPU. Please be careful and use your best judgement while following this tutorial. The manufacturer and myself ...
If your system is sufficiently cooled then this method is pretty safe,
hence the fail safe of shutdown temps. Be Smart! If you have water cooling
even better. If you don't need to overclock then don't. I would only
recommend doing this if the machine is on its way out. If you want to learn
or are curious give it a try. READ FORUMS ABOUT YOUR BOARD AND CPU! This
will give you better insight as to what your machine is capable of.
depends on your board. Some require a system fan along with the CPU fan.
With many boards if you disconnect the system fan an error will pop up
stating that something is wrong with the system fan. Some motherboards will
allow you to continue booting while others will not. Long story short
disconnect it before the over clock and see what it says. You may also be
able to tell it to ignore the system fan in the bios.
hey i overclock my cpu to 3ghz and i have a petium 2.70ghz and now i can
boot my pc but the screen on my monitor doesnt appear anything what i do

RayMan's overclocks the Intel i7 2600K CPU in his home built gaming rig to 4.8ghz stable with Asrock MoBo and shows off his GPU overclock. Current System: ...

Great video, was waiting for this for ages. Since I have the same CPU

I will not get better with Air cooling. I am happy with the OC and Vcore
settings.
4.20MHz with 1.240V core.
Nice how that old H50 keeps your CPU in the 30s overclocked at 4.8ghz 24/7.
I was thinking of upgrading my system in the summer, maybe getting ASUS 99X
board, but after seeing how our systems are still able to perform well I'll
save my money for other goodies. It's just hard watching all these
new motherboards and video cards coming out and looking so good... I just
start getting that itch. :)

Am I the only person here that thinks these videos are the biggest waste of
everything?! Waste of money, resources used to make the phone, electricity,
milk.. The videos are in no way entertaining. You can argue they're
informative, but it's stating the obvious that nailing a phone to a fence
will break it..
I'm sorry but this is just annoying to watch. It was okay (relatively
speaking) when it was like extreme stuff because it's somewhat interesting
to watch. But this is just dumb and childish. Go donate the for a good
cause instead of pulling this kind of shit. Besides watching that iPhone in
the milk was fucking painful.
prime95 used used to make sure your overclock is stable and that your
computer won't crash on you an loose data ,get blue screen's' and to see
how hot your cpu will get,so you don't damage it. just try it and watch
your temp's they should be ok. BUT i don't know how hot it is where you
live how much volts you have going through your cpu. just use prim95 it's
important just watch cpu temp when you do it.if it gets around 65 C stop
it. let me know if you have any problems blue screen's or so on
its for hwbot...org ....they don't use it any more cause the team cup
challenge is over but you could search hwbot team cup challenge 2013
background an it should pop up ..they make new backgrounds for each event
so they know your not cheating and reusing an old overclock also using a
Alienware Transformation theme for windows 7 it's in my likes
no your cpu will be way too hot ... try 4ghz with stock voltage that should
be fine but alt+tab and check your max cpu temp on CPUID HW monitor real
fast but temps should be good up to 4ghz
Hey what is the prime app used for I already overclocked to 3.6ghz on the
same processor cause i need to buy a good cooling system i only have a
small fan
This is a video showing you how to overclock your cpu. Note that these methods also overclock your RAM. I will not be held responsible for any damage done to ...
I'm not responsible for any damage on your pc ! Clock Cpu: 1.Start your pc 2.When PC starts press Del -go to BIOS 3.In BIOS go to Intelligent Tweaker 4.Set CPU ...
and the CPU host freq dosent change anything, when ir boots it still shows
the same (333x7) even if i changed it in bios to 350x7 and cpu-z shows that
i am still on 2.33Ghz
I can set 19 is that concerning quadcore cpu by fiive at 4 cores ?
Overclocking i7-950 | 3.72GHz Stable
Since you guys wanted a new, better video, here it is. As I said, copy my settings exactly, and you'll have a stable OC. I am not liable for any damage done to ...
Will this work for me????????????????????
I have a Foxconn Flamingblade GTI motherboard
The same processor, but with the cooler it comes with
And a power supply of 750 watts.
+TheDoomBrowser It should, the only thing that would be different is the interface for the BIOS. With the stock cooler, I would slowly increase clock speed by about 0.2Ghz each time, and run some stress tests to make sure temperatures stay under ~75*C. If it hits 75*C or higher, I'd tune it down a bit.
+deonster1 Great what cooler? ( assume not stock ) I ordered the cpu today since it seems they are running out where I live.... ( wasted 10 euro's shipping ) I just cant make my choice when it comes to the motherboard. Would be great if you could tell me more about the performance... I hope the absence of HT isn't to much of a drawback.... prime 95 pulls all it can from it so ur doing that right for sure surprised about the temp although some oc it to 4,5. Hope ur happy about ur purchase.
+Schwanzel StockI have a g3258 and testing it as I'm typing this with a asrock b85m pro 4 and nonz-oc set to 4gz, testing with prime 95 for about 10min so far and cpu temp in the low 60's.
Personally use this, it's great. I do recommend turning down the voltage
tho. 1.14 vcore on my i5 4690k will do 4.5 no problem. The default is 1.3
(i think).
