He wheels through bush roads & mud bogs, fords creeks, climbs hills in gravel pits, and then does it all again in the winter through 3 ft of snow. No rock crawling experience at all because there are no rocks to speak of. Casey, his co-driver, that he met at Mountain Havoc, Idaho, a week before TTC is a rock crawler. +OzcarMtl I was disappointed that the engine that only needs one wire to run the 12valve cummins was taken down by dodgy electrics.

+Evroz621 sort of makes sense but a more modern engine would be more reliable, this year there was a lot of reliability problems.

+OzcarMtl Cant answer the first, but for the second, its my understanding that its just the fact the chassis are easy to come across, parts are readily available (See american V8s), the bodies are disposable in a sense. No one will buy a new pick up truck with electronics out the ying-yang, only to tear it down completely and make it a mudder/rock crawler.

haven't seen anyone else do this, i may be a first on this set up.
