There are two different spellings. "The spelling judgment is found in the
Authorized Version of the Bible. However, the spelling judgement (with e
added) largely replaced judgment in the United Kingdom in a non-legal
context. In the context of the law, however, judgment is preferred. In the
U.S. judgment strongly prevails. As with many such spelling differences,
both forms are equally acceptable" from wikipedia. so either is fine. they
chose to use the english spelling.
I'll bet money that they didn't consult linguistic texts or the non-legal
context of its usage. In the US, "judgement" gets a gasp from grammar-smart
people. ^^It's even underlined in red as I wrote it to indicate a
misspelling. If they're from the UK, I'll allow it... if not, then they're
morons.
