I quit Boy Scouts after reaching First Class. I had no motivation to become an Eagle Scout. My parents threw me into the program without my consent. I didn't want to join the program in the first place. I kept trying to quit, but my parents wouldn't let me. I was in troop 765 from San Diego. Many boys in my troop quit for different reasons. Only a few made it to Eagle Scout. Afterwards, I don't pay attention to scouting.

And clean, Well lets just say that that waaaas a vertebra in the back of the scouts cuz it's an unnatural thing for a child, boy to be clean. His speech at the Arena Show was amazing, we played swing the thing and brtish bulldog untill the MPs chased us off. NO BS, my troop was on the same flight home with him, what a great guy. Go troop 619!

It is such an honor to be an Eagle Scout when i know that Robert Gates and Mike Rowe are some of the few famous Eagle Scouts. It is funny how Mike Rowe got a bigger applause that the President's video.

My home troop has adjusted the oath and law for Mike. We also played swing the thing for half the meeting. I also was lucky enough to get the Mike Rowe Patch! I have a dirty job, Alpaca Caretaker.

So funny! My son said something very similar at his last Board of Review (for Star Scout)-that Boy Scouts camp all the time, so clean is probably the part of the law they could do without!
