You write fine.  And you are correct, her vocals have ruined beautiful songs.  I totally agree.  She does not know the meaning of the word 'subtle'.

Patti's vocals are always terrible.  She has that bloody awful forced vibrato that ruins everything she touches, and at a pitch out of context with the song.  Can't stand her singing.
