I just made a batch of cupcake cones last week for Thanksgiving. My husband's aunt used to make them all the time for holidays and the kids loved them. She passed away last year. This year when I asked the kids if they wanted anything special for dessert, they immediately said CUPCAKE CONES! So, we're keeping the tradition alive. TFS, Heather

What is the point of cutting a hole in the top or even coating the paper in chocolate? No one is going to eat the paper, and I'm pretty sure the cupcake doesn't need to be in it because its not supporting it.

Lol, somebody is a bit slow in the head. When you freeze it, it will just mould to it. Then, afterwards, you can peel the paper off. DERP WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE NOW A DAYS

So with the apple corer, is there a hole at the bottom of your cupcake? Or does it not matter since the ice cream would be frozen and the liners are still on anyway?

When the chocolate is hard you remove the paper from the chocolate so you have chocolate 'bowls' or shell to put the finished cupcake in.

Did anyone else cringe when she said "glace" cherries. It's a French word and you pronounce the 'e' at the end. So like we say fiance like "fee-on-say" glace is pronounced "glah-say".
