5.7 L V8 Hemi with Mopar performance air intake. Mopar make the engine roar
louder. The way it should shound. No this was done in Autoand no 4 x 4 low.
The Quadra Track II decides for it self what to do I just sit back and wait
for the magic to happen. After this video I replace the Kumho 20" with BF
Goodrich All-Terrain A/T. Kuhmo only did 17 000 KM. The BF tyres will do
more than doubble. They are cheaper than Kumho and better looking. One must
learn to drive slower with the BF Tyres.
Yes great idea then you have $15 000-00 to spend on your back operation I
prefer the Jeep's riding comfort and top speed to the Cruisers lack of it
It is a Jeep thing I want to spend time in the great outdoors pampered with
luxury and space not Crammed into the confined space complaining of the FJ
Cruiser no matter how capable By the way did you noticed the Land Cruiser
on the side not part of the fun ? Jeep is more fun to drive
I love seeing Grand Cherokees playin like they were made to. My 1999 Grand
Cherokee with quadra trac II does quite well offroad compared to other
stock 4x4 and is a pleasure to drive on the road too. The 5.7 hemi sounds
awesome in this video, perhaps I'll get one after I drive my current car
into the ground.
Yes you are right just imagine.......... But why go slow? People laugh more
when you go fast Lives to short not to laugh Live your live as I drive my
Jeep Rule 1 Full throttle all the way Rule 2 Never settle for the path of
least resistance Role 3 Never fear mountains in the distance
Jeep Rubikon Wrangler and Willys are real Jeeps with great 4 x 4
capabilities The Grand Cherokee are just as capable These real Jeeps lack
the spreed and luxury of the Grand Cherokee on the road Only Jeep Grand
Cherokee will kick the butt of many 4 x 4 s on and of the road
Love my 2008 grand Cherokee limited, your truck is extremely nice but I
think the new grand Cherokees are not as off road capable. It has become
more like a range rover. As in it can still go off road but its more at
home on the streets
Why is the USB port inside the arm rest between the seats not working? It
is added as a sales gimmick and only for cosmetic purposes. WOW Jeep
thought of everything Is there anybody with the same problem any workaround
so far?
Yes Quadra Trac II This mud bath was done with standard tar / asphalt road
tyres Imagine what it will be capable of doing with proper off road 4 x 4
tyres The engine compartment under the hood / bonnet were clean no mud
The Jeep tire is rated V spec tire this mean 220 - 240 km/h 100 mph is 160
km/H Maybe I must drive slower and fit 4 x 4 tires The new South Africa
have more pot holes than tar / asphalt roads
you should have gone for the 18" rims instead of the 20"s because the tires
that go one the 20"s are pretty much street tires where the tires on the
18"s are more of an all-terrain tire
@JeansForLife wk jeeps i would say is the farthest away from what jeep is
about in terms of off-roading ability. You probably never even have ridden,
let alone own a real jeep
The Grand Cherokee is a Jeep, not a Dodge, and next year all Chrysler V6
and V8 engines will be equipped with 8-speed automatic transmissions to
replace the old 5 speed ones.
Yes you are right 18" will be better Suppliers said real off road tires are
not able to take the load and speed Any advice? Hey Imagine what this baby
will do then?
Trust the South Africans to find a wet spot out in the middle of nowhere
and then proceed to trash a luxury 4x4! Good fun I guess - very capable
vehicle.
its the tires not the driver and especially not the jeep. haha. also the
proportions on that suv are the sexiest of any car out there. o my god i
want one.
We've owned several Hemi. There's nothing like a well maintained 5.7
American hemi. Slapped on to jeeps awesome awd system.
Provided maitaince and care is dine ( we always do all work at dealer). You
can put an easy 4-500k woth out the truck needing any major work. Maybe
some gaskets and peripherals work. But over all. The Hemi brand has proven
to be reliable, durable and low cost maitaince repairs.
+aky19832001 Roger that- and that is good to hear about that engine, I have always been curious on the engine's long life etc.....Thanks again for the infoR/Chez
Sad I think when you pay what you pay you should be provided more options; WJ huh, man I was a owner of first CJ-7 and first YJ, and a Laredo, as well- jeeps for life for me this Overland Summit is maxed out and I just had it converted to LPG fuels system w/ original Gasoline as additional fuel source
I'm at a cross road btw. Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, leaning
towards the Cherokee. I'm falling out of love with my 2002 Pathfinder. Nice
Review!
+Rich Conover I'm working on a review of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and I LOVE it!!! That would be my choice unless you need a third row. Good luck my friend!
