After many trips to the shop/dealer my truck still has intermittent no start problems. All which come from the Immobilizer system MPI forced me to install, and will ...
Your a farmer, put some bails of hay close to your truck and start the
bails on fire. Let it melt your truck. I know it's not the "right" thing to
do. But say the fire got bigger than you thought it was going to. And you
went to move your truck and it wouldn't start. It had to sit there and
burn. So sad, now mpi and their friggen genius number crunchers can pay for
a new truck for you.
I just took my buddy's out of his Sonoma. He lost his second fob and they wanted $400.00 to replace them. Screw that. 4 splices later, it's back to stock.
thats the thing, I've got a TON of money in this truck to get it exactly where i want it. 650 hp to the rear wheels, and 18 canadian MPG pulling my28 ft travel trailer.27+ MPG empty. Alpine/Rockford Fosgate system that will blow your mind.don't wanna melt it down.but this trash MPI made me install is pure BS !and there is no recourse to deal with it.i had $12,400 in hail damage and i refused to let them write off the truckshowed a few receipts of what i had invested in the truck.they fixed it. new roof and all. so now the body is prefect as well !these immobs are crap.BS that I am made to run one, and no chance of a different INS company to compete.
