the light comes on dash for the transmission comes on after you drive it
for a long distance. the transmission get over heated . the light is a
warming to slow your speed or stop for a short time to cool the
transmission. it is a fault design of the maker Jeep and the chain drive
transmission. I hate my Jeep.

I feel your pain, I'll advice ad many people as I can to stay away from jeeps, they are also poor on gas mileage.

My Tranny slips too right after the 90k miles. A mech. Told me to replace
the tran. Cooler and it should be good.

got a similar issue with mine. needle jammed behind stop pin as if car is
doing 200 mph ???
