+David Acevedo The battery is a good consideration and also the routing of wiring and relays so it will be clean install and well protected.

The customer has since upgraded the battery. It's not necessary in this case. If upgrading, I would recommend Northstar batteries.

Nice looking installation until you got to the under hood red wiring. Why not make the wire a little longer, neatly route it along the inner fender , enclose it in some split wire loom and then fasten it with ty-wraps to some sticky backs.. Then it would look like a professional installation.

what is the difference between a straight and a curved light bar? and how much does an SPOD run? how would you turn it on without spod as well?

Curved bars are generally used on full-size trucks. sPOD units start around $420. Most light bars come with a harness and switch to use. Having the sPOD is just icing on the cake.

I believe the JK uses a M8x1.25.

what length bolt did you use on the bottom part of the bracket because the factory bolts will not fit because of the two pieces of metal.

I'm not sure of the exact size. You can pull one of yours out and take it to ACE Hardware or Home Depot to match it up.
