Fisher CZ-21 Beach Gold: California Beach Hunt With A CTX 3030!
Thank you for watching!!!!!! Thought I'd try a little ocean beach hunting, quite a bit different than the river hunts I'm used to doing. Using a Fisher CZ-21 because ...
hey jimmy, ive been beach detecting with the garret ace 250 for 5 years,
and wanted something better and waterproof. Do you recommend the Fisher
cz21?
+Aidan Geoffrey Bennett Hi, Aidan! Personally I was disappointed with the CZ21. If you can, go and check one out somewhere. It is SO flimsy and uncomfortable. It would not function in the types of river conditions that I hunt either. The shaft is So wobbly! If you check one out and still want one I'll sell you mine. I've used it twice! Try and get a hold of one to check it out. Best of luck to you!!
I went detecting a few times on a beach where the local currency was $.
I've found so many rotten one cent pieces.. people must be throwing them
away!
+Jimmy Maya We have got the 1, 2 and 5 euro cent pieces. They are iron with a copper coating. My Excal makes a very choppy signal on them. I usually do dig them. I think that about the half of them I dig, is wasted because of corrosion.I just got back from an awesome hunt. Found 2 gold and I had my GoPro with me. I will be uploading in a few hours. You'll like it!
+stefanr00 I know what you mean. These "new" pennies here are made of zinc, they just fall apart after a few years especially in the water. I just throw them away after I get home. Take care!
Nice beach hunt! Been hunting beaches here in Hawaii for about 10yrs!
One tip I can give you about beach hunting is no discrimination and dig it
all!
And remember this, alot of big Solitaire diamonds are set in gold that ring
up as foil!
I've dug a 11/2 carat that I sold for $2500 that rang up as foil
Also dug a Breitling diver watch last month that rung up as Iron.
Keep swinging and H.H.
+jadesun3 Thanks for the tips! The first diamond ring I found rang up as foil too, I was on land and using the Fisher F2. I'd just started this hobby. It's one of my first videos. Ever since then I do, when and where I can, dig most all signals, until I get pooped and burned out that is! Thanks again! Best of luck to you!
Hey Sheriff Jimmy, you are getting closer to me mate! - Manresa State Beach
to Cairns just 11,000 kms and I reckon I could see your smile from here. A
happy and prosperous new year to you and yours Sheriff Jimmy, regards
Chris.
Hi there Chris! Hope all is well with you! Summertime in your beautiful part of the world, must be nice! Thought I'd try a little salt water beach hunt, pretty safe over here, no Salty's to worry about! I'm gonna try and make it over to the coast on a monthly basis, it's really nice once I get there. Waiting on your next vid. All the best to you and your family as well my friend!Jimmy Maya
+BVI Hunter I have been hunting for many years with underwater Fishers and have had no problems with the units, They both go deep, but underwater I am sure they both would pick up the same targets where there is not as much as much of a depth problem as on the beach. I would take the Fisher any day of the week.
+BVI Hunter It all depends on the type of hunting. The Excal goes a little deeper but the CZ-21 is better at separating targets in iron areas like dock sites. I use them both.
In a "jump area" like this one, where signals are on top of one another, I don't rope off an area. I do have fluorescent line that I have used with spikes to help guide me in certain areas and it does help.
There are three discriminating salt water machines I really like when wading: The CTX, CZ-21 and Pirate Pro. I used to use the Excalibur until the CTX came out. Any of these machines will work for you. If you hunt a beach with little iron trash, you may want to look at PI machines because they go deeper and are more sensitive especially on low conductive gold targets. Carter
