When I have makeup brushes that stain or just won't come clean (revlon colourstay is the main culprit) I use soap and glory "peaches and clean" it works like a charm every single time I normally wash my brush as normal curse like a builder because it's stained then get peaches and clean rub it in to the bristles etc then rinse sometimes I do it twice if needed then i just give a quick wash through again to make sure I've got rid of any product and it never fails me :-) x

Have you ever tried using washing up liquid on really stubborn stained make up brushes? I just use fairy if any of my brushes are stained or oily from oily make up xx

Ive never thought about if it's kind to your skin, but if you rinse it thoroughly there's no reason it shouldn't be. And I've only tried it on my real techniques stippling brush and lip brushes but it's been fine on them :) I'd probably test it on a cheaper brush first though if you're worried xx
