hey i just have a quick question. my cousin gave me his ipod touch 2g and it was jailbroken with blackrain. so then i heard of the new software update (4.1) and decided to update it. so i did and now its updated to 4.1. but there isnt any firmware saved to my pc because i dont know where it is or i just dont have any. and i really want to jailbreak it with snowbreeze. what should i do?

@basketballfan4eva try 1 or 2 : 1. try to save this again and check where it goes (path) ,it should be the same direction. 2.follow first steps in video till you check radio button:show hidden files and folders,after that :START--->>SEARCH ,type IPSW and search your PC.

Thank you so so much! my iphone froze so i had to hard reset and of course that means locking it back to at&t so i needed to jailbreak it to ulock it and i couldnt for the life of me find the file for redsn0w. thnaks to you i found it and was able to fix my iphone!!! :)

ive followed all the steps got to the iphone software update there is a file in there it sayin that its a safari download file but when i click on it it says not a valid download file . how dow i get it to be an actual file ? thnx

i cant find the ipsw thing in the ipod software update folder. idk if i saved it somewhere else but i dont remember doing the save as thing. so is there any way i can get it back? if you answer it would be a BIIGG help

Please help. I did everything and managed to find the "iTunes" file but in it there are just 2 programs and another file which doesn't contain the IPSW file. What could be the reason?

@infamousbasterd oh and to show hidden folders go into windows explorer and on top left click organise tab folder and search options then view tab and check show hidden folders

You can actually, just click start, then type %appdata%, find a folder that should say apple computer, click that, then click ipod software updates.

man, I've been using ifile for the longest time and didn't know it even had the install option. I've been using the terminal or winscp to do the install. Thanks for the info! Would you also mind sharing what themes and stuff you seem to got going on there? Phone looks awesome, although it seems to be responding rather slow!

@Escourse99 yea unarchive it then wait for that to finish...then there should be a folder or folderS, find the folder with the theme in it and click "Edit" in the top and press button on bottom right and "Cut" it....then go back to root folder and go to var/stash/themes and Paste it there

I cant install H1siri.deb using ifile ..i downloaded the deb.file actually on my PC and then i copied it to ifile using winSCP...When i tap it there it is installer when i tap on installer it finishes up with a code 512...Help me plz

@TechhhWorld I tried this but instead of saying installer, mine says unarchiver. When I click it it finishes and says result code 0. After I cut and paste it in themes, it says could not be moved file already exists...HELP!!!

did you get the old 2.7.2 version? if not i have the original download file. Got it off my old ipod 4th gen that i dont use and so hadn't updated.managed to roll back my iphone 5 just now.i can email it to you and whoever else wants it.

I'm sorry, but I have not found a way to install the app to non jailbreak devices.The app will work non-jailbreak devices only after I put my Apple ID. :/

I can get 2nd ipa (not jailbroken) onto my phone with itools but asks for apple id and password, when i put these in it thinks for few seconds then crashes, as probably needs to be your id and password, Will 25pp software solve this and will 25pp software be in English as tinypic link you gave the site is in chinese?

The software is in Chinese, I could not find one in English. I would not do a screen shot for you if it was in English. ;) I believe it will solve your problem. Just please let me know if it worked!

my phone is not jailbroken, the cracked link, when try to install through itools, comes up with installation failed: Verification failed as the X

You right! The error appears to you because your iPhone is not jailbroken.So, install the second IPA file for device without jailbreak and then try download 25pp from here-//ghost.25pp.com/soft/ppsetup.exeAnd do like in this picture-//i62.tinypic.com/4h6xqu.jpgPlease let me know if it solved the problem or not! :)

hey man, this time its finishes up but on itunes it says installing and also the soundcloud icon on the iphone is grey and says installing. seems to be stuck on installing any ideas?

did you get the old 2.7.2 version? if not i have the original download file. Got it off my old ipod 4th gen that i dont use and so hadn't updated.managed to roll back my iphone 5 just now.i can email it to you and whoever else wants it

I will check if the problem is in IPA. But please be sure that you have appsync From cydia in your iphone.Please tell me if the problem is resolved and what was the problem.:)

+קורן ברhey i rly appreciate the reply.i tried itools and its gets to the very end then says "install failed : verification failed as the... " i cant see the rest.i will try the appcake method nowthanks again for the help!

Try to install it with iTools, I believe it will solve your problem. If your iPhone with jailbreak you can also download the IPA to your iPhone and install it with app like appcake from cydia example.Good luck! :)
