+Eric Robinson Hey Eric - Hmm I'm not sure about that since they have different properties. Coconut Flour is incredibly absorbent, so normally the the liquid ratio needs to increase, etc. (which I don't know the conversions to). Could give it a try and see, but I think if you just straight subbed one for the other in this recipe, it would be incredibly dense/dry.Thanks for watching!
+Renee Washington Hey Renee! That really sucks. Checking some sites for low net carb fruits...what about raspberries (per 1/2 cup - 7.6g carbs-4.2g fiber = 3.4g net). Here's a website I found with some handy info with net carbs and fruit! //lowcarbediem.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Atkins-Low-Carb-Fruits-List-Official-Counts.pdfThanks for watching and hope you find something yummy to sub the strawberries with.
+Eastclaremum Hey there! I think so, they're pretty solid, just depends if you cut them in half (like I attempted to do). If you do slice them, it may be a little more fragile, but then again, depends on if you want to make them thicker or make fewer servings, etc. Thanks for watching!
+SharpieNail Art Hey there~ I know right, was a little surprised myself and had to re-check myfitnesspal when I was entering the recipe! :) Thanks for watching!
+Ginger tea Mix It's pretty yummy, I wish I used more strawberries though. I also had one for breakfast today, held up alright in the fridge. Good for fats! :)

How To Make LOW CARB French Fries (Fat Free)

I watch some of their videos and I'm usually laughing after each one. They
have a fun personality and that's the reason they have such a good
following. It's "infotainment" at it's best. As for their workout and
nutrition advice, for the most part it's good stuff. But realize there are
exceptions to everything. I don't believe in absolutes, as in there is only
one way to build muscle, lose fat, etc. There are lots of programs that
work. You need to find the ones that work best for you.
Great recipe mate, but people should note that there is no need for most of
us to go on a low carb diet, most especially when gaining muscle when that
would actually severely hinder results. My advice would be to enjoy regular
fries and start to track your food so you actually now what your daily
macro goals should be - no recipe is healthy or 'builds muscle' - diets do
that. Great vids as always though, keep it up!
Lee I tried these tonight. Big hit with the family, but I still have to
tweak it a bit. I can't find the frozen cut turnips anywhere. I used fresh
which isn't an issue, but they were very soft like a soggy fry might be.
What do you do to make them turn a golden brown and be firm? I had it at
400 and at least 25 minutes. Should I keep them in longer until they firm
you think? I appreciate the advice you give btw.
@kertcobainSA There's nothing wrong with them per say. But if someone is
trying to lose bodyfat then cutting back on your carbohydrates will help
your body resort to burning more fat for fuel. If you want more info about
bodybuilding nutrition just go to my main channel page and download my FREE
Bodybuilding Quick Start Kit, there's a free nutrition guide included with
that download.
You're great for all the (free) info you give out to others. Good job,
mate! However, with that being said, these 'fries' are, well... It's not
that they don't taste good, it's the consistency and texture of them. They
aren't soft like fries, they remain kind of crunchy. When I bit into them
they were analogous to an underdone french fry. Not to appetizing I'm
afraid.
@mesa4life what do u mean by spike ur blood sugar. So tired of that. food
raises blood sugar a can of pop spikes ur blood sugar. But that shouldn't
be something anybody worrys about. U could have high carb diet and as long
as u workout and have a calorie deficit u won't gain weight. It's that
simple. To think that carbs somehow is the key to fat loss is just insane.
@leemhayward well... here we eat turnips raw and we love it with vinegar...
i didn't actually know that you can bake them, but i do know that we put
them on soups... thanks for that. i really learned something, plus the fact
that it's low in carb... again, thanks. we like turnips raw so... i guess
turnip fries serves a delicious treat. healthy too.
Lee, I made these a few days ago and they were awesome! But I couldn't find
the pre cut turnips at Sobey's. I have about 9 more weeks until I'm on my
full fibrous part of my contest prep, and want to really fill up on these.
But having to cut these up by hand was a real pain. Do you know of any
other stores that sell the pre cut? Thanks so much!
@tionlover Cutting back on your carb intake is a great way to lose bodyfat.
And healthy fats or essential fats are the fats your body needs, such as
omega 3 fatty acids. I recommend you go to my main channel page and
download my FREE Bodybuilding Quick Start Kit. I go into the basics of
nutrition in that free download.
i tried this...its gross.. i crossfit and train hard and am all about
health..but this is just not an alternative...just like those who think you
can make carb less pizza from just using eggs as crust...just either eat
these unhealthy things once every few months or just cut em out...
Hey lee i know you probably dont have time for this but what do you think
about the hodgetwins channel ? I mean would you follow their advice ? I
mean they say that they do 15 sets max on their workouts but seems unreal
what do you think ?
I'm sure there are guys who are subscribed to my channel just so they can
"dislike" my videos. Because every time I post up a video, within an hour
or so I get a couple dislikes right away. And it doesn't matter what the
video is about.
@Srpskeoci The key to having muscle definition is to first have good
muscular development, then second you need to lose all the excess bodyfat
that's covering them. And your diet is critical to both building muscle AND
losing bodyfat.
@Srpskeoci You should have a post workout protein shake right after your
workouts. And then eat a solid food meal within an hour of your post
workout shake. I've got a video talking about this called "Pre and Post
Workout Nutrition"
@adgeee000 I still wouldn't recommend "regular fries". Eating deep fried
foods on a regular basis is just a heart attack waiting to happen. Eating
home made baked chips like this is a much healthier alternative.
@ChrisD4335 It's hard to explain taste, obviously they don't taste exactly
like regular potato fries, but they do have a nice taste when baked and
the spices you use will really help give them extra flavor.
@skullcove97 You can eat them until you are comfortably full. But I
wouldn't gorge yourself on them. A full pan is probably a bit much. What I
shown here is good for 2 generous sized servings.
@yaspaaa You know you could make "low fat" cheese burger. You could use
ground turkey for the burger patties, fat free cheese slices, etc. I'll
probably whip one up sometime and post a video :-)
nice video... i wonder if they taste like refular french fries too. i'll
try this one time. thanks lee. still waiting for that fat loss system
video... btw, i didn't know you're left handed.
@tionlover people go on low carb diets b/c when you ingest less carbs,
there is a less of a chance of your insulin to spike. crazy insulin spikes
leads to increased chances of weight gain.
