wow, good job! I´m a sugar addict and I tried this diet and for 2 days I´m
fine then on the third day I crash because we always have sweets and
junkfood at home and even if I don´t crave it I have to have it because Its
all I can think about. I know its bad!
Do you count carb on drinks like coffee and tea, I was told it has 1gram of
carb for each cup.
+Keto Karma I did it for 3 days then I failed. I wasn´t even craving the carbs but I had to hae it because it was there and I couldn´t stop thinking about it. I have no self diciplin but I will try again.
My first week or two I didn't worry about calories as much and just focused on keeping my carbs below or at 20g. I count and track everything now, I even have a food scale that I use sometimes because I had no concept about how much food I was actually eating. I started tracking right away but stuck to calorie goals after the first two weeks. Currently I'm eating around 1350 calories a day, and honestly it's a struggle to get to that many days, because I am always so full. Fat really fills you up and keeps you full a lot longer than empty carbs. Your appetite and cravings will really slow down after the first month. Stick to it, and you will succeed. Hey. I also used to be a sugar fanatic, drank soda, and ate a lot of carbs. You totally can do this! I have carbs in my house because I have a two year old and my husband didn't do keto when I started. The key to success is planning and having keto foods at your disposal. Once you get through the first two weeks the cravings pretty much go away. For the coffee it depends on if you use instant (has carbs), or brewed. When I log my brewed coffee it doesn't show carbs on MFP...and honestly even if it does have 1 carb or so it's not enough to throw you off. : )
you are doing fantastic, should be very proud of your self. I been lowish
carb to keto for 3 years. my weight does go up and down(up in winter, down
in spring). but never anywhere near were I was. I guess I am very lazy
keto. I never count anything! I guess I just know what not to eat now.

Hi! Your transformation is amazing! I am approaching 1 month on keto and
I've lost about 12 pounds so far. I've done quite a lot of research (my
wife thinks I'm obsessed) which is probably true...haha! My goal with keto
is not about weight loss so much as a means to possibly correcting some
deeper health issues. My next goal is to get my wife to join me. She is
quite overweight, and like most people she has tried a lot of diets, loses
some weight, but eventually gains it all back because of the
unsustainability. She freaks out a bit about how much fat I eat, but I've
assured her she wouldn't have to drink bacon grease. I would, but that's
me. I've shown her some of your videos here and just wanted you to know
that I think it has done more for getting her to start than all of my crazy
