I used to always make bad food choices after I have gone 5-6 hrs without eating and it was usually fast food! I have chosen to make fast food off limits for me because I was addicted to fast food. I am working on becoming a PLANNER (planning my mealtimes and meals, carrying quick things in my purse to grab ect).

yes a lot of surgeons dont spend time with pateints to let them know so you will find yourself drastically un-prepared..Multi and a b-12 is pertinant,,however they dont tell you about being backed up, how to prepare for pain, how to have energy etc..i want you to be pre-pared so im giving you all what they dont..if their is anything else you want to know please dont hesitiate to ask :) happy shopping beleive me it will all come in handy!

Wow that's alot of vitamins. I'm feeling very under prepared with only a multi and b 12. I'm pre op and all my doc told me concerning vitamins was we sell this kind, ugh so aggravating! I guess I'm going to Walgreens before surgery!! Thanks for the info

let your doctor know you will be having surgery i am sure they will have an alternative for you to have until you can swallow pills again..thats if their huge pills if their really small you should be able to get them down..no worries :)

Hey there! You mentioned pills, what do we do about blood pressure meds if we cant swallow pills? i take prilosec capsule, what do ? I guess this is something i should mention before july when i get banded,,,lol
