+Parrish Pittman EL Time lag is not an issue if you make ginger a part of the daily routine. I have a few cups of tea and a glass of lemon-water every day and just started adding a few slices of fresh ginger. I also have a few shakes of powdered ginger on my nightly bowl of cut mixed fruit(instead of a sweet dessert).
I have found ginger to be a great all-around pain killer: sore muscles, achy knee joint, headache, etc... I always put a few thin slices of fresh ginger in my lemon water and usually add a slice or two to my hot tea. No more need for aspirin, naproxen, tylenol or other NSAID's.
Shouldn't our governments have some kind of system for distributing this
important information to the public? You'd think all this research
suggesting that foods can prevent and cure all sorts of illnesses would be
widely known. Instead only global warming, terrorism, vaccines and drugs
are mentioned with any frequency. How can we be expected to believe that
the government is acting in our best interests when the most important
facts are filtered out?
+curtsher11 They wont. If it affects big business, just like how becoming healthy vegan will help prevent all major illnesses, they want to keep that as something that only quacks would recommend.
+curtsher11 Your beloved government is more interested in helping big pharma corporations getting rich, there's a lot more money in drugs than cheap ginger, besides, if everyone is healthy then those big drug corporations will bankrupt, so it's their interest to keep people sick in order to sell more drugs. Your government officials are dirty politicians who need money and they get it from the big pharmas. Get it?
+curtsher11 Governments are in cahoots with the PharMafia, who have absolutely NO interest in healthy beings! For them, the sicker, more drug dependent, the better! Follow the $$$. :(
Ladies, ginger works wonders if you have menstrual pain. Slice a few pieces
of ginger , add water, bring to boil and simmer for about 5 mins (about 4
large slices of ginger and 3 cups of water), consume it and pain is gone.
Works everytime.
