I saw one video on here were a guy and his 12 year old son went to 171
metres, an another guy who penetrated the wreck of the Andrea Doria on air
at over 200 metres on air.
I've been to 50 meters. Never would go deeper without some sort of
alternate mixture.

The 100-meter dash is an explosive race that requires a runner to have an amazing start. Run the 100-meter dash with tips from a professional fitness trainer in ...
My friend chuckie at our meet yesterday ran the 100 meter dash in 11.46 or
45 seconds... Something like that and that's why I was looking up the world
record.. I obviously new he didn't beat it l, I just wanted to see how many
seconds away he was.. O yeah and he did that yesterday with a cast on his
ankle, it was recovering from a sprain but he can run fast even with a
sprained ankle.. He's in 8th grade and 14 years old
well actually i have improved since i posted my other comment :P i went
from a 13.5 to a 12.8 :D this workout does sound very intense though, and
also how many weeks should i do it for; two, four, six? also would this
improve my acceleration and explosiveness? i will definitely keep posted,
especially since im trying to beat my middle school record. ill be training
hard for the upcoming eighth grade school year.
@mmball8 the best sprinters at your that make it to state generally run
from 10.8 to 11.3 however most people your age run 12.0 to 12.4, I myself a
junior in high school and average about 12.3 however my time has been
slowly decreasing as it will happen when you get older and develop more.
no dummy thats district qualifying.. i didnt make it to districts because i
ran it in a FAT meet.. it was 11.37 FAT but 11.1 hand time.. but they could
only enter FAT timing.. yur so stupid i hate hater like yu yall jus keep
fueling me to work harder till i come out on top!!
im no expert. but i used to only get like 11. 90, but i started doing air
alert (look it up) which is a verticle jump program. but it builds
explosiveness in your legs like crazy. in 3 weeks i went from 11.90 to
11.19... hopefully ill place at state next year
what my coach said to me is if im going to keep showing off near the end of
the race im not going to get faster. that was 4 months ago and i ran 11.2
absolute fastest possible with no slowing down. now i do a hard workout and
ran 10.99
@Antweezy58 Last year twin runners that go to a rival High School nearly
break 10 seconds in every race. That was their junior year too, let's see
what they do this year. I really think that they will break 10 seconds.
@ElliotHeath100 my time is no good, its 11.22ish but my event is the
decathlon. In high school i only did the pole vault so this is like my
second real year of running..... ask me what my time is in year or so haha
Upper body strength plays a role in stabilizing your core which is vital
for balance while running, running is a body motion that involves almost
every major muscle in the body, pectorals are no less important.
My time sucks. I think I gotta work on my form and start because a lot of
people say I spring up too fast instead of keeping a 45 degree angle
through the start. Any tips on how to stay at that 45 degree angle?
@ElliotHeath100 hahah he is black, and race does tend to be a factor. Dude
the sprints are all about the fast twitch muscle fibers and black athletes
tend to have more..... i'm not trying to offend anyone lol
Can someone tell me how to start a 100 meter race properly cuz my starting
is extremely poor thts y I lose my races but I have quite good after that
also I can't run in a straight line please help me out!
By the last 30 meters momentum pretty much carries you no matter what
effort is put into it by then. As for his time, that' not bad, as he gets
older he should be able to save a good amount of time off.
@cod4door no cause at the olypmictrials its the top two or three times that
qualify and they are usaully 9.7 9.8 9.9 if i went right now i wouldnt make
it cause a slow time there is like 10.2
Im on the track team and people say an amazing 60m for my age. People who
compete in my heat for the 60m most of the time beat me in the hundred. How
can get better in the 100?
@flexyfork haha i thought so but blacks do have a bigger achilles bone than
white guys nd women and that tends to give them the edge. how fast do u run
in the 100m .
are u kidding me, 12 seconds 100m age 12, unless he hit puberty at 8 he
cant run that fast, u sure it was 100m, could have been 100 yards maybe?
still i doubt that
three weeks? very impressive...but isnt it like a 15 week program? LOL how
much do you think i could take off my time in a month with air alert (i do
a 12.7-13.00)
almost everyone who posted their best time on here lied. I'm 15 freshman
and ran a 13.1 last season. not sure what I run this season, hoping for a
12.8 or lower
And they said that runners today are breaking the 9 seconds range. Which is
wrong. The fastest time is 9.58 Seconds and that's not breaking the 9
seconds race.
the problem with this video is it doesn't tell how to run the 100 meter
dash. plyometrics are great for training, but they won't address the
running technique
Go to the gym, squat, bench press, clean, abs, then go to the track do
6x60m at 100& full and some pylometrics and stretch on the end. You will
see progress!
