well it prob was, but did you put enough agar powder for it to go solid? I've never used it personally but i heard that its a great alternative to gelatine.

These are traditional Latvian piradzini (bacon rolls). This recipe has been handed down from my grandma. They taste delicious, and are a great comfort food.

do (albeit at home you can buy them in the store). Good idea to double this
recipe to get around 50-52 pcs, or risk for them all to be eaten within
minutes. So good!
Now that's bacon! When I was little my Mamaia would cut some up and make a
little platter with tomatoes and cucumbers and feta cheese. Not to mention
all the fresh warm bread.... And my mom used to put it in scrambled eggs.
