jimi hendrix and as much is that makes me mad i do always appreciate people
who tell their stories of what i love , thank you zipster
I`m old enough to remember woodstock think I was like 15 at the time I
remember the Mama`s and the Papa`s I have them on my ipod today I still
listen to them.....Just watched a documentary on Mama Cass the other
day....It was just a fluke that they ever got together... Mama Cass was
born on September 19, 1941 July 29, 1974), born Ellen Naomi Cohen died at
33 years old just a baby....
That would have been such a great "trip" Zipster that would have been
awesome to see Mama Cass! I'm 35 & I know who the Mamas & The Papas were! I
always wished I was born back then! Unfortunately the new Woodstock they
had a few years ago probably didn't even measure up to the original!
LOL I LOVE the Mama's and the Papa and Mama Cass Ruled! I'm only in my 30's
and hell yeah I remember them...sheeshh....movements don't die just because
the people do. I would have LOVED to experience Woodstock ...you're a
blessed person to have experinced everything you have. HUGS Dol
Zipster!!!!! You my friend are Awesome :) Thanks for the Shouts, and I
really appreciate your friendship. Have a great one. Oh and by the way, I
sure wish I could of gone to woodstock, I have seen alot of footage of that
weekend, and it looks like it was the best. Peace, ace77man
I love you soooooo MUCH! Thank you sooo much for the laugh! I really needed
it, Zip. I just had another shitty day at work (I work at Wally world, so
like duh!), and you just made the whole day worth it! God bless you, Honey!
If anyone deserves a blessing, it's YOU! Thaks!!
There might b a pic of U taken at woodstock that U don't know about. A 17
year old boy named Dan Garson took hundreds of pics during the 3 day event
for his school paper (if I remember right). Wouldn't it be great to find a
pic of yourself among his collection?? :)

Wow, what memories. I was in the Navy had duty that weekend ........ we all
listened to the hourly newscasts about Woodstock on the radio. Still a
vivid scene to me all these years later. You were there....WOW.
you bother to do these videos so I can see em...WOW Mama Cass and Jimi...Do
you know what a person would pay to see what you saw? WHY couldn't there
have been video cameras back then like we have now? SIGH
I am dying to see the movie about Woodstock. I was only 9 then, so don't
remember the actual event, but was amazed to hear recently that it was all
organised by a teenager, half a million people, awesome!
Richie Havens - Freedom at Woodstock 1969 (HD)
Rest In Peace Richard Pierce "Richie" Havens.. ☮ (January 21, 1941 - April 22, 2013) More than 3 months ago I decided to take a look into the woodstock history ...
CAN YOU OR SOMEONE HELP ME UNDERSTAND HOW UTUBE WORK,,DO I IHAVE TO
PAY,,HOW CAN I PICK SONGS TO PLAY ONE AFTER ANOTHER,, I HAVE A HEAD
INJURY,, SO AM KIND OF STUPID RIGHT NOW,, WILL GET BETTER, ANY HELP ON
ANSWERS WOULD VERY MUCH BE ,,CAN NOT SPELL, APREACIATED,,, THANK YOU ,,
Thanks. A great performance. I bought the Album back in the early 1970's and listened to it many, many times before I finally saw the movie; ten (or more) years later
Johnny and a lot of others sure got shafted by not being included in the
Woodstock movie or on either album...That's a Fender 12 string he's
playing, but it looks like there are only 6 strings. Your thoughts?
I notice it does not sound like a 12 string at all. I can't imagine what he was playing being done in a 12 string as they are not played that way. The sound might be interesting though. Very interesting guitar.
WTF? Why did they cut this phenomenal performance from the movie, but put
in a bunch of crap, like Shanana?? JW man, that's all you need to
say.........
+JD Espacial The Dead were not happy with their performance (it was in the early morning and they had equipment issues) and asked that their performance not be in the film. Same with Janis Joplin
Please stop calling him ' under rated ' not by me . He's under appreciated
, cause he's just as great as Clapton but the powers that be see it
differently....
+Last Kayle EUW You. missed the point of my point , It's all political , so Ill break down more specifically , Freemasons/ cabala control music and all power can be traced back to Bank of London and their puppets at Billboard and R and R hall promote who they want , hence british invasion hype and why American bands get marginalized .
"As Great as Clapton" does not describe Johnny Winter. Clapton did only around 2-4 good songs and he is not one of the best guitarr players by far. Johnny Wibter is way better in my opinion.
If I remember way back when, I'd swear that either Edgar or Johnnie strung the acoustic 12 string with 9 strings, and my buddy did it because the Winter's were doing it. There was a brief time where lots of people did 9 on a 12.
Hey Drumstik, I might not be 100% correct, but I think that's a 66 or 67 Fender XII 12 String, that Johnny strung for only six strings to use for slide, they're great sounding guitars!
JANIS JOPLIN - Woodstock experience NO FULL CONCERT
Janis Joplin at Woodstock festival, 16 August 1969. 05 - Try (just a little bit harder) 07 - Can turn you loose 08 - Work me lord 09 - Ball and chain Songs 1 to 4 ...
+James Minos I read somewhere that she was capable of actually singing more than one note at a time. I've heard it in some of her songs and it's pretty awesome. I don't know if she could control it or if it just happened naturally.
Janis Joplin wasn't very attractive or clean she tried to sleep with
Morrison he laughed in her face I'm not saying this out of humor the women
was suffering in life
