No problems, hope you enjoyed, ive got some more, I just need to work out
the best way to edit and get it up...It definitely brings back some
memories :)
whats wrong with nitrous? Its less harmful then turbos or a supercharger
since its only in use a very small amount of the time. Its really only a
problem if you try and run 100+ shots on a stock engine and fuel system.
upgrade your fuel system and internals and make sure your AFR is proper and
you should never have a problem with nitrous.
it was a joke dude. ive been running nitrous for the last 7 years and have
learned quite abit about it. i agree, if you dont abuse it, it will be just
fine. ive got this car boosted and running nitrous tuned on megasquirt and
it does just fine.
it falls into the whole hitting nitrous is like hitting a girl with stds.
you know you shouldnt but you still want to. i have that problem with
purging as well as the go baby go. besides ive got two bottles in the
trunk, so its all good.
I'M IN LOVE.. WOW. NICE WORK. Kinda hard to say your street legal. Reminds
me of the GTR Video from Aussie land. MORE VIDEOS> MORE STREET VIDEOS>
PLEASE> watering mouth. hahahah
@distortedlife55 maybe it was an old bottle? maybe it was co2 or something
else to test out? maybe he had to empty the bottle for some reason? u never
kno
mx6 turbo nitrous 50shot and 8psi t3/t4 megasquirt
my first run was without nitrous at 220hp and 250tq. this was with a 50shot and it was 250hp and 270tq on a super flow dyno. this was the first time on a dyno ...
thanks. you can get a nitrous kit for under $500 bucks easily. this is an
NX kit that i bought 7 years ago. I ran it on my DE with a 50 shot for a
while then uped it to a 75. now that i have the ZE and turbo im back down
to a 50 shot. in this clip you can here the clutch slip when i hit it, so i
would choose wisely when you upgrade.
Cool! Waz ur DE stock at the time? cuz I have h-comp piston, intake and
headers, exausth2.5" from a to z,cstom tranny and for the clutch issue I
already got a stage 3 single plate 6 ceramik puck.... should i upgared it?
thanks alot for ur time and info!
sounds like your good to go! my de was stock other that intake and exhast
with the nitrous. i even ran the 75 shot with the stock clutch. My clutch
is a centerforce so its not a very agressive one but your would do just
fine.
ALL THE COMPRESSOR IS DOING IS FORCING UR THROTTLE LINKAGE OPEN UR NOT
GETTING ANY BOOST OUT OF IT U NEED TO 2 COMPRESS THE AIR THEN EXCEED THE
ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE 2 GAIN TRUE BOOST
that better be before the MAF or you'll burn up that engine
Mazda 3 75 shot of nitrous
This is my girlfriends mazda 3 on a 75 shot of nitrous, intake, and full exhaust. We tried a first gear pull and it couldnt hook up at all. So we just did a second gear ...
let me clear some stuff for people. TPS sensor works for drive-by-wire in
that it senses a certain voltage the throttle puts out at WOT (wide open
throttle) So the nitrous only engages when that voltage is emitted. Second,
i can hit 80 in second gear, i have the 4spd. Wire is the blue and white
wire for the tps. A perfect system for a zex wet kit would be direct port
(distributes the no2 to each cylinder evenly), bottle heater, remote
opener, traction control unit aka widow switch...continue
...(the window switch allows you to decide when to spray the nitrous along
the powerband. You DO NOT want to spray before 3k or after 6k give or take
a few hundred rpm. Also, it lets you decide what gear, first gear is
worthless to spray in ^^^). You would also want a purge system ( for
function not looks, it rids the lines of moisture/air and also brings
nitrous to solenoids so there is no lag). By utilizing all this you now
have a completely automated nitrous system.
thats what these kits are designed to go off of . you use a volt meter to
find your tps wire . thats all i did . i found the wire that moves up and
down in volts by pushing the gas pedal down. if you get on the forums
sometimes they tell you which wire . after you find the wire you gotta set
up the zex box. what kind of car is it going on
we have the zex kit . i like because it has a wide open throttle switch. so
u have to tag ur tps sensor , it will only spray when ur 100% open
throttle, and u dont wanna spray at lower rpms. So if ur in looking for a
kit i would get the zex kit.
yeah we were ify about it at first but we started with a 50 shot then
stepped up to a 75 shot . She sprays on it all the time and the car runs
very strong still . As long u use nitrous properly it wont cause any
problems
I got a really good deal on the kit it was 200 with the purge . Yes i did
the install at my shop , i do all my work to all my cars myself wit h my
girlfriends help lol .
Bro you're leaning the fuck outta the car get your afr tuned lol your check
engine light is probably a lean code or a vacuum leak from crappy
installation
200? wow. so if I wanted to go nitrous, what would I need exactly? And also
you mention in a post use it properly. what all does that consist of? thanks
he has a KLG4 engine with headers and an exhaust cutout. 9 pound flywheel, short shifter I think. and he has nitrous. 50 shot. but he wasn't using it in this video. I only met the guy once so that's all I know
@mattg889 wait a 77 firebird 0-60 in 5 seconds????? since when??????? and a
351 is not a 400 according like you said its a 400 cleveland tall deck
block using windsor internals and tall pistons. great truck motor but not
really a performance engine. because the 351m you have produced 223 lbs of
tq and 148 hp and zero to sixty in the lighter torino which ofcourse is the
same platform as the thunderbird for the 7th generation like you have did
zero to 60 in 13.8...... and with a 400 12.8.
My first exposure to the Mazda rotary was back about 1974 and It was a
sedan type vehicle i think called the r5 and my buddy pulled up beside me
and i was on a yamaha 250 2 stroke enduro type bike and even though I was
off line quicker than him(dirt road) that bugger was right behind me and
was screaming. I pulled over and asked "what kind of screaming banshee is
this"
@kaitlynabaker My dad tested it years ago, it is 5.0 seconds, its all in
how you drive it. 351m/400 It is equivalent to a 400 plane and simple. I
have never experienced the 5 seconds with the condition its in now, but I
know it can accelerate faster than my Taurus, and my v6 3.0L Taurus can do
0-60 in 8 flat. Not no f-ing 12.8 seconds, lol.
@zeppelin67637 Look i like v8's as much as the next guy but whats wrong
with that engine? yeah it revs high and doesn't sound beefy but so what it
got a damn good time. I'm not saying you don't appreciate it but i feel
people should like cars for being cars no matter what engine.
@DillonParish9604 Yes I have had some people tell me that. Perhaps you
should straiten out your rotary addicted friends whom told me that they do
come stock. Really I don't give a shit either way, the suck with a turbo,
they suck without. Get a real engine!
so, Im an old school V-8 guy, is that violent, screaming, flaming lil
fucker supposed to sound like that? lol damn sounded like my old 2-stroke
dirt bike with no exhaust on it and throttle stuck wide open.
@DillonParish9604 Ahahahahaha! Are you referring to the car in my video's?
lmao, That supposed "piece a shit" car can do 0-60mph in 5 seconds flat
without the help of a turbo or any aftermarket mod's.
no hay nada como los rotores de puerto rico.fuck that we have the badest
cars in the world rx3 rx7 rx8 rotary jeeps on mud rotary bugs starlet and
datsuns papi con puerto rico no jodas
@elchicoboy They sound like shit because I can't afford one? Lol, I
wouldn't want to afford one of these pieces of crap! I'd rather afford
something better, which I have already done.
I sure would like to know some of the specs on this car. I'm working on a
12a Bridgy, and wanna pour some NO2 through it..... Any tips on running
100+ hp of NOS through a rotary????
I WAS THERE, ITS A 1/4 GUYS NOT AN 1/8... WATCH THE SHADOW OF THER CAR TO
THE LEFT.... 60ft IS INDESCRIBLE! THATS HOW MUCH OF A BEAST WHAT YA'LL KNOW
ABOUT THAT SUCKA!?!?
sorry bro not all rotaries come stock woth a turbo turbo dumbass look it up
a 12a and 13bna domt have turbos what do u think na stands for natural
aspiration
Rotaries take nitrous better than people think they do. Make sure you have
the right amount of fuel and timing and you can spray a ton on these little
things.
sorry bro not all rotaries come stock with a turbo dumbass look it up a 12a
and 13b na dont have turbos what do u think na stands for natural
aspiration
Hmm...never heard of the probinator chip before. If you're keeping the same
engine then there won't be any problem with ECU communication, and because
its a manual transmission there's no computer controlling the shifting so
I'm not quite sure about the necessity of the chip. You're absolutely right
in thinking that if the same model of car had the manual tranny as an
option there shouldn't be a problem...should be a *relatively* simple
swap...you're welcome and best of luck!
There would be no reason for this than? Would it also be okay if I did the
swap and went with the probinator chip? The only reason I asked about the
manual swap is because the guy said that there is a problem that occurs
with the car when it is a manual but, then I thought to myself if they made
the engine like that then why would they sell a manual version of the car
too. So thanks for the info. it really helped and i will be looking forward
to doing the swap!
right on. I got me a 1994 Mazda 626 and been thinking for a long time about
dropping in klze, but only thing that scares me is that im not sure about
the emissions part, if it will pass or not, I live in albuquerque, new
mexico and they're pretty strict about that stuff, so what would you
suggest i do?
Someone told me that it would be bad for me to make my klze a manual
because they are not meant to go over 4500rpm is this true? The reason i
ask is because I have a 1994 Ford Probe GT with the klze motor but the only
downside is that it is a automatic and I want to make it a manual. Thanks.
a real car lover loves anything non rice lol. and yes, there are very fast
everything, but domestics don't suck at build quality, some do yes, but so
do some imports... and considering this car had to get this engine because
the other one failed... i just dunno bout them haha.
Very very nice, love the dash and the sound of the car. Out of curiosity,
are you conciously shifting like that? If so, has it made much of a
difference? If not, you're getting back on the accelerator too fast as your
letting the clutch out, just incase you didn't know haha ;)
Find out what the local laws are on engine swaps. I know some places in the
States only allow engines that were available as an option for that car to
be swapped in. If all cats are still left on, and there's no check engine
light you should be alright though.
the kzle engine opens up the vris points at slightly different rpm points
than does the klDE. Not to mention the more aggressive fuel curve you'll
get and the ability to go past 120mph with the prob. chip. So if you want
the most out of your klze get the chip.
@DjExplosiveVybez to be fair most of these cars have an mass airflow
problem which causes the light ot come on and the sensor needs to be
replaced pretty often it will also cause your mx6 to rev up and down in the
winter due to the cold air
@chrismay1a There's a special kind of plastic "dye" that you must use, not
paint. You might be able to even get it at Canadian Tire, or a local
autobody shop. Google "plastic dye" and I'm sure you'll find some good info.
@Tgrovez The ZE won't pass emissions at all, no EGR, doesn't recycle the
emissions, it will fail miserably, with that said, do it. I have the ZE in
my '93 Probe and love it to death, best decision ever.
I have a KLZE in my 626 and it's been in there since Novermber 1, 2006. I
changed out the weak ZE valve springs and retainers for the DE's and it
hasn't given me any problems since. Check out my vids.
Well I'm pretty sure he didn't just use your basic paint...he used a
special sort of plastic "dye" that won't come off with greasy hands, etc. A
few coats of the dissasembled pieces did the trick.
Lol, true, but this was one of the first speed runs my friend did on his
new KLZE swap, so he didn't want to break anything...which is possibly what
happened to his KLDE...overrevving.
Whoever told you that is retarded...it's a DOHC Japanese V6 that can run at
high RPM's with little problem. I'd say go for the manual swap...you'll
enjoy the extra power and control.
yeah all the shift pts, launch method, launch rpm , all wrong. but, youre
very right to put the KL-ZE into a Mx-6, that's where it belongs! does he
have the [very rare] LSD ?
pretty slow man, your engine looks more like a klde than a klze, mostly
because of the 0-60 time and the low pitch of your engine, klze are very
high pitche like a vr6
