The simplicity of life as shown in the Andy show, brings us all back, to how kids did like school, and how they did respect their parents. Compare the show, to what we see today. Children as young as 5 years old...using the "f" work on school grounds, and if the teacher calls the parents...they have to apologize for keeping child after school as punishment ! Are u happy parents? Now you have a little gangster on your hands.

I clicked on this because I have always loved Andy Griffith! And then I see a comment, in all caps btw, about reparations. Isnt there enough hatred in this world? I always watched reruns of the Andy Griffith show as kid, especially at my grandparents place. I always liked it. It feels like part of my childhood died with Andy. Rest in peace Andy, and thank you for the wonderful show.

Have you ever asked your kids who are their role models? Most will name t.v. stars or athletes. This was all created by freemasons. Truth is stranger than fiction. Kids used to play sports, then you grew up. Now most men are really stuck at 15 years old. Can't even think independantly. All part of the dumbing down of America. Not really, we've had way bigger ones in the past ten years, especially in 2001 and 2003. I've done more research and the chances of something happening are slim. The earth is somewhat protected by the Van Allen radiation belt and the earth's magnetic field.

I've recently researched a bit more into solar flares and found that they're somewhat common and the earth's magnetic field and radiation belt protects it from EMPs or CMEs. We've had bigger ones lately in the past 10 years.

His death didn't shock me or anything cause he was 86 after all so yes he was very old man & lived a full life & gave a lot to us. He was quite big piece in American TV history & overall TV history. Another legend of the 20th century gone. RIP Andy Griffin, Leslie Nelson, Stephen J.Cannell, Tom Bosley & George Lindsey who also passed-away earlier this year.
