hi, can you tell me how to disconnect the moquette coating at the gps area
? i see that there is a rivet (a black button on the moquette). I just pull
the moquette or there is a special way to take it off? i don't want to
damage the moquette.

BRILLIANT, this really helped thanks. We have a 2005 X3 and the Sat-Nav
needed re-calibrating the local BMW dealer wanted me to bring it in whilst
they a diagnostic check [no doubt at some great expense] however I followed
these tips and it worked straight away. Thanks again.

Glad yours is working, mine cant get past the "cd navigation inserted,
software will be loaded" part.....
