2 Chicks on 2 Harleys
Sept '09 girls motorcycle trip. My friend had JUST gotten her bike ('09 CVO Road Glide) and was itching to get it out on the road. Even though we had gotten ...
@baitcaster10 Ahh...thanks for the compliments. Yes...her CVO is super
sweet! She had a Fatboy before and my bike used to get all the
attention...now, mine barely gets a 2nd look when I'm with her! .LOL! ;-)
Good for her though, huh!? As far as my RKC, I love having the detachable
fairing (music esp) & the ability to dress it out...but really love having
the option of taking all that stuff off when I'm not touring. It looks
"best" in its naked state IMO! Totally different bike. Love my RK!
I have been thinking about the fairing for my Heritage but don't want to
shell out that kind of money and not be happy I use my iPod for music and
thinking about the handlebar mounted speakers for the pod ...Glad to hear
the king looks good naked cause not all things look good in that state
lol....PS I would give your RK a second look I love the Harley's that have
the nostalgic look ,leather bags ,whitewalls if you saw my Heritage you'd
understand it's on Harley riders on FB
WOW!! I just watched your video, 2 chicks on 2 Harleys, and was blown away.
Two beautiful, sexy women on two beautiful, sexy Harleys on a raodtrip out
west. Fuel for my fantasies!!! What kind of cameras and mounts did you use.
The depth, focus and light were perfect. The was no vibration or motion
static as with most POV motorcycle vids. I ride a Road King myself and am
planning a 3 month trip through NM, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Wyoming,
Sturgis and Colorado this summer.
@garydelvecchio May I also suggest 95 and 24. Also, if you want to get off
the well beatin path try The Burr Trail. SPECTACULAR!!! My wife was born
and raised as a good little morman girl in Panguitch, Ut. So, we've done a
lot of touring on our bike out there. Check out doug650 for some good vids
set to really good music.
Unreal!!! You've done what I've dreamed about for a few years now. God
Bless you two and I wish I could feel just a incling of how it was while
you were riding through some of those areas that you must have felt as
though only God himself could have created. If envy is a sin I am guilty as
hell......:o)
From the date & time stamp, plus my recollection (so much of Utah looks
similar...absolutely stunning), I am pretty sure the specific road on the
video was on our way into Dead Horse Point State Park. DHP S.P. is on SR
313 18 miles off Hwy 191 near Moab. Really though, it's hard to go wrong in
Utah.
Wow great ride!! Amazingly well done video. What kind of camera & mount did
you use? It's awesome that it's not all bumpy when you are cruising. I just
finished a 4,000 mile solo trip up the coast, but one of my biggest
challenges was keeping the camera steady. Nicely done ladies!!!
Awhhh Mary..I love watching this video over and over again. I am looking
forward to our girls trip in May. Nothing like what you did...but it is inm
y 2 yr plan to make it out to CO to do some riding...maybe we can meet up.
Hopefully I will see ya this summer...take care.
I HIGHLY recommend Hwy 12 between Bryce and Torrey. Absolutely
unbelievable! Unfortunately, we rode through during a heavy rainstorm and
were unable to any video or any still pics. Bummer for sure! I hear the
road between Hanksville and Blanning is fantastic as well.
I'm gonna have to stop watching this and get out on my bike. The snow has
stopped in New England and I now gotta get out. Thanks for the video, I
visited the area last year in So Utah, Colorado. Thats a great place to
ride. Hope to see you on the road this summer.
WOW not just 2 bikes the CVO is Sweet and a Very Nice Job tricking out the
King Classic as a full on touring bike ...Cold and snow here in New England
so have to wait a few months..Enjoy your next trip and "Be Safe"
I hope to run into the two of you this summer. I will dream about you
tonight. Oh, I didn;t mention, good music too. Bob Seagar!!! You girls are
an old man's fantasy!!!
Beautiful scenery. The landscape and the young ladies !

Safety Sphere - Ultimate motorcycle airbag suit
Rejean Neron's Safety Sphere is a protective suit which inflates to a man-sized sphere, completely enveloping the rider in the event of a crash. It inflates in five ...
Going from 70mph to 0mph hitting the van, your brain would smash into the
skull & you'd still die. This cgi animation is ridiculous. Honestly, it
would've been better if the bike had radar to sense the van pulling out in
front of the rider and some sort of accident avoidance automatic override,
to bank & steer around the van. (hell, it's sci fiction, just have the bike
fly over the van, land again & carry on down the road)
Utter crap & a waste of 1.26 watching.
Oh No He Wouldn't.He doesn't exist a start, he'd have been fine riding a bike from the original Battle Star Galactica tv series, circa 1980 we had these. (in our imagination all our bikes flew) Dick.Might have been only 10, but even then I could tell sci-fi from reality.Your bloke is a cartoon. So of course he'd be 'alright' if you put him through a mincer & then dropped 10 ton weight on him.
All that protection... and his hands are still torn to pieces because he
forgot his gloves! Who's a silly billy then!
And what about the poor bike? Broken bones be damned, the first thing a
biker thinks as he's flying through the air is "Shit, I hope the bike's
ok!" Make a balloon to protect the bike and I guarantee you a sale! And
make it black for gods sake! Better to die horribly in a crash than be
forever remembered as "that bloke who bounced 3 miles down the road in a
bright orange beachball!"
Better still, make a balloon that inflates around cars driven by morons....
you'd sell billions of those... and think of all those safe, happy bikers
you'd create!
Beam me the fuck up Scotty! This planet stinks!
The video is missing the part where he rolls down the hill for 400m into on
coming traffic gets hit by a truck causeing him to rebound off the road and
down the cliff into trees and finally stops in river floats down stream and
gets washed on shore deflates and gets eaten by a bear ...
Sorry but , I just watched this animation/video again and guess what - I
still think it's a "Silly Ass" product that has little real value. Plus, if
you are luck enough (if you can call it that) to hit something that would
catapult you clear of the obstruction then, perhaps your little
bouncie-bouncie would lessen the "Gavity" of your "Wounds" but, I seriously
doubt it.
Whether the driver is careless or not it's still a good idea if it saves lives! There will never be a road full of completely careful/safe drivers so why not use technology available to us? Don't support it if you don't want one, but I think it's genius. Theoretically you'd be protected upto 185mph, it could be used for many other things as well as riding.
+Leo TL It's just ridiculous. Sure, there are bike accidents that are unavoidable but, the majority are and avoidance starts with the drivers and riders that share the road.
