You say hard to handle, yet your using a keyboard. . . I just tried it with my steering wheel where the turn speed is as fast as you can turn the wheel and it works just fine.

Well you should never leave that much slack in the 2 main safety chains...I work at a U-Haul dealership...you always twist them up more! Heck what we do is loop those 2 chains around the hole that the box's latch hooks down into...works the best and is more secure!

One thing you should know, I've never seen it happen yet, but don't put the brake chain on the hitch pin's clip otherwise if the combination comes apart, you lose everything!
