RIP, Dr. Robert M. Carter. You will be greatly missed. Your clarity of
thought about Climate Change and the nonsense being taught to students as
if it was scientific fact cannot be easily replaced. Human emissions of CO2
has not, is not now, and will not ever drive Climate Change. You'll see
many Liars misrepresent what Dr. Carter has said. But he was right, and
time will prove him so. In the meantime, pay attention to the sun, and
watch what happens to mean global temperatures as the solar energy output
continues to drop (as evidenced by a dramatic reduction in the solar
sunspot record).

For every Bob Carter there are 20 climatologists who will refute his
misrepresentations. Bo Carter is a well spoken Geologist who generally
gives presentations to people who are already skeptical about anthropogenic
climate change. Like ReverendBrownbuttock has noted his arguments would be
soundly destroyed by a group of climate specialists. Bob Carter can
manipulated or plainly misrepresent data and make it look like it says the
opposite to what climatologists are saying. Who can stop him?

Serious climate scientists present their doubts via peer-reviewed
scientific studies to the scientific community as a whole, which than
either debunk or confirm those doubts. There's a reason why climate deniers
like Mr Carter have to resort to presentations such as this one: their
doubts do not stand a change in a normal scientific peer review process. Mr
Carter expresses his opinions, not scientific fact, to an audience which
generally believes a 'scientific theory' is just a theory.

Bob's lectures are a wish-wash of actual science, misrepresentations and
misleading conclusions. I attend a lecture he gave at Port Kembla RSL in
May this year, with very similar content to this lecture. The audience were
mainly above the age of 60 years old, and were very heart-set that
"greenies" and scientists have collaborated in a big scam to take over the
world with a big stupid carbon tax. Bob could have fed them anything and
they would be eaten it all and asked for seconds

The topic is the result of burning fossil fuels. Climate change is just the
most widely debated and easy to twist. While most people can't understand
the science behind climate change, it is easier to show concrete proof of
the release of a large number of toxins produced by burning fossil fuels,
such as sulfur dioxide and heavy metals. These pollutants are eating away
at the lungs of every person. Fossil fuels pollution is truly one of the
greatest issues facing this generation.

There has been a wish-wash of actual science, misrepresentations,
misleading conclusions and a lot of completely unrelated character
assassinations on both sides of the "climate change" arguement. Professor
Bob Carter is an Australian scientist and is entitled to his views. All of
the data he presents can be checked as can that of those wanting a tax.
Climate has, and always will change. I'm not convinced that a tax on CO2
will alter that? It will, however, redistribute wealth.

On 7/28/11, it was revealed that the scientist behind the
polar-bears-are-in-trouble research is being investigated for “scientific
misconduct”. Then, a new study of NASA data revealed that the earth is
actually allowing more heat to escape the planet than previously thought by
the climate change community. During a speech at the Aspen Institute in
Colorado, Al Gore launched into a vulgar tirade while accusing skeptics of

This post is rediculous to the point of being offensive. How can you
possibly say that there is 'no science to prove man made global warming'?
There are hundreds of thousands of peer-reviewed papers supporting the
assertion that global climate is changing as a result of antropogenic
activities. I'm sure a 4 year old could also see that there is a strong
corporate interest in discrediting climate science that far outways any
scientific interest in promoting bad science.

It amazes me how the alarmists have been sucked in by these academic twits
on the climate change gravy train. There is no science to prove man made
global warming, but even a 4 year old can work out the science of what a
carbon tax is going to do to the economy. Bob Carter is not the only one
who is trying to get the truth out, there are many hundreds if not
thousands of others as well. We should have a national "Punch a greenie in
the face" day.

Professor Carter what about the known cancer causing toxins released into
the air, water and soils when fossil fuels are burned. You might be able to
fool people about the complicated science of climate change, but any idiot
can smell with their own nose and see with their own eyes the smelly
exhaust that comes out tail pipes of cars, the chem trails of jets, the
smoke belching out of power plants. Let me see you twist that to your
advantage.

Bob carter's a scientist, but his area of science is geology. How does that
qualify him to speak authoritively on global climate change? No credible
scientist would deny that climate has varied considerably throughout
history. In fact, proxy data on past global climatic conditions form an
important part of predicting future responses to climate change.

What 'scientist behind the polar bears'? There are a huge number of papers
which examine the possible effects of future climate change on biodiveristy
and it seems incredible that the alleged misconduct of one author would
have any impact on the validity of the overall picture painted by all these
studies.
