What does Philadelphia have that other cities don't? All this. We call it Philly's wow factor. People come here to experience our art, music, history, food, beer, ...
The one thing Philly has that no other city has is the biggest New York
Infority Complex in the country. Every city has it but Philly being so
close living in Nyc's shadow is worse off then Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles
etc. New York has a wow factor not philly. Philadelphia is a suburb
compared to New York. Now let the comments begin. LOL
+AZTCrazy Philly's only claim to fame " we started independence blah blah" more then a hundreds of years ago. Its funny how people from Philly always come up with funny ideas to compare it to New York which is and always will be the crown jewel of America. I lived in South Jersey and outside of Philly, and its absurd how you cant keep New York's name out of your mouths. Philly isn't even on the level of L.A. or Chicago. New York has run laps around Philly for a very long time, you guys will never catch up.
+Rubber Soul I don't spell check on Youtube only a nerd would point that out. I am a born New Yorker. When it comes to being slow Philly does it the best compared to NYC, Boston, D.C. or any Northeast city.
Philly is awesome!!! after all,it is the city of brotherly love!! everyone
has their own opinion! in my opinion, Philadelphia is one of the greatest
cities you can live in! i know this because i live there, and to my opinion
you cant get much better than Philly. (no offence to other cities) But
really, is it wrong to love your city? Anyone who lives in Philly should be
proud to live there. I know i am!
Nothing better than SAN FRANCISCO, CA!!! Home of Silicon Valley (world's
largest technology corporations)...Now that's something Philadelphia really
DOESN'T have! LOL!
+TempleFork10 And you also have no factual evidence to prove your argument. Start practicing what you preach.Logic dictates the burden of proof lies in the one making the claim - which is you, because you claim the snow in Philly is black. So go ahead, prove that Philly is the only city you've seen with black snow.
+TempleFork10 It's mainly the plowing that creates black snow. If you say Philly doesn't plow their streets, they don't have black snow. If other cities don't have black snow, they don't plow their streets.I don't live in Philly, but I know they keep their roads clear. I've also been to New York and Washington (as well as smaller cities), and they've all had black snow.
+TempleFork10 I've seen brown snow in Philly, Boston, and New York. And I guess humidity is an east cost thing but don't trash Philly just to get your rocks off.
+Joe Murray You're also dead wrong about humidity near the ocean. I currently live in Seattle...situated on the Puget Sound...very low humidity during the summers. Humidity is also very low along the Southern California coastline.
+TempleFork10 snow is brown wherever you have high car traffic and snowfall together so same can be said about Boston or New York. Also I don't mind the humidity. Anywhere near the ocean is most likely going to be humid anyway so there's that
+Noble1xCarter That's alright - If you wanted to find it you'd first have to know that early semiconductors were called transistors. Enjoy - //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_transistor
+Noble1xCarter Where'd I find out where the hardware was developed? At Bell Labs . . . because I've been there. But you don't have to go there to learn about it. If you're from the Bay Area then you must know who the largest employer in Mountain View is. They'll help you find the information you need.
So U PENN isn't a major school? The declaration and constitution aren't important to American history? GTFO! Philly is an amazing city and only get underrated because it is so close to NYC. And honestly, outside of night life and Broadway, Philly is better.
+Douglas Martinez Pennsylvania doesn't amount do anything? I guess the country doesn't exist, then, and neither do your rights.Oh, and having best schools mean nothing without the best students. That's why Pennsylvania's average IQ is 6 points higher than California. California's #48 in highest average IQ in the states.Best weather? Sure, if you like droughts lasting years on end, constant wildfires destroying hundreds of thousands of acres of land, and people dying year-round because of heat stroke. Also, California having a GDP of 1.959 trillion, and Russia having 2,096,774, California is the 10th largest economy. Also notice the direct correlation between population of state and GDP. The fact so many people live in California is the main reason California has a high GDP.That's a pretty pathetic list you're talking about. But sure, enough said.
yawn... and even with such invention Pennsylvania still doesn't amount to anything?! California has some of the BEST SCHOOLS IN THE WORLD, best weather, 6ht largest economy IN THE WORLD...list goes on and on... ENOUGH said. ;)
+Douglas Martinez Other than the fact that most of the Silicon Valley companies today are computer-based companies? Apple, Cisco, Ebay ,Facebook, Google, HP, Intel, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Netflix, Oracle, Pandora, Twitter, Yahoo, Zynga, etc. would not exist without the ENIAC. And Silicon Valley would have no importance whatsoever, an that little garage company would have been the start of nothing important.
nah... you're really just dreaming! FYI and according to STANFORD UNIVERSITY (Palo Alto, CALIFORNIA), The rise of Silicon Valley is credited to a STANFORD professor and two of his students: "In 1939, with the encouragement of their professor and mentor, Frederick Terman, Stanford alumni David Packard and William Hewlett established a little electronics company in a Palo Alto garage. That garage would later be dubbed "the Birthplace of Silicon Valley."-Stanford Univesity. So yup, your claim is pretty meaningless...nothing to back it up with?
I'm with reaper freedom on this one. I think this is a dry run just to see
what people will put up with in the name of security. I also hope that
people are so turned off by this that they ditch their plans to visit.
I live and work in Philadelphia; take the regional rail train each day to
work and am employed with the Judicial system here. The entire courthouse
is closing down from tomorrow (Wednesday) and will reopen next Tuesday.
There are so many "strange" things happening here that raise the eyebrows
of people who haven't historically "been paying attention to anything".
Folks are filling up their car gas tanks, going grocery/food and water
shopping, hunkering down and even getting out of here for these "free
vacation days" off from work. There are just so, so, so many things that
are questionable and looking at movies and the media (I know,.... I watch
with a grain of salt too) seems to point to negativity for this event and
time of year (spiritually and naturally). I heard it said before that what
the "elites (or Jews)" do is, they inform you of what they're going to do
to you in some kind of way prior to doing the actual thing they're going to
do in order to free their conscience of guilt. By giving a "heads
up/warning", if folks are paying attention and connect the dots,
so-to-speak, they've been given time to prepare and remove themselves from
the danger (the trap/snare) but if they don't take heed and get outta
dodge, then they say, "OH WELL...WE TRIED TO TELL YOU WHAT WAS GOING TO
HAPPEN Goyim". Wow! This time next week we'll all be on the other side of
all of these events and spectulations and we'll see how the conversation
will be then. I am remaining in the city as I live somewhat of a distance
from the inner city where all the pilgrims and people are now converging on
the city (it's a beautiful sight, by the way, to see so many people from so
many places coming together for a common cause - though I am not a fan of
the Pope, Papacy, Catholic religion but it's just a picture of when Ha
Maschiach (Christ) returns, that it'll be for every tribe, tongue, kindred,
etc.). Anywho, my husband, son and I will remain here in Philly and as my
son attends a private Christian school far from center city Philly, they
will remain in operation. We will be tuned in to TV, radio and internet to
stay abreast of stuff going on in the city but will be packed and ready to
flee, if necessary! To the mountains we will go a flying! Everyone please
be safe, prayerful and watchful. We're in the last days...but this is not
the actual end... this is the beginning of sorrows and birth pangs. Shalom.

Check this out Mike if u haven't already. From catholic school in ridley
park, PA (outside of philly). Its a very strange letter sent home to
parents.
+lifeandwellness Yup, I saw that! I believe it to be true. I did a video on preparedness bags being distributed in my city a couple of months ago. You can watch that here if you haven't already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVcrBLfkBpw
So I live outside of Philadelphia and am very well connected with the
communities around Philadelphia as I am a professional and involved with
many groups. It is well known that the National Guard is going to be housed
at West Chester University - some 1500 in number. There are 12 sites around
the city that are preparing for "emergency centers" that will also house
SWAT, secret service and other federal forces. I have been told that there
are multiple scenarios that are actively being discussed and therefore
planned regarding the Pope's visit. All of these individuals are
"Sheepeles" and unaware of some possible biblical or financial or physical
calamities that are quite possible, yet all of them seemed nervous about
the extent of federal presence taking over not just the city of
Philadelphia but the suburbs as well. FYI
+On Point Preparedness I am not sure what is coming, or what is being presented if at all. I find it odd that every direction of people whether religious, theorists, astronomy, truthers, etc all point to something is coming. I know speaking for myself and family that we are pretty ticked about all of this. I myself feel that I should not have to go through security checkpoints let alone secret service checkpoints just to go to work. In fact, it is a major violation of my rights to work freely. The city is completely transformed.
+DivineMissMelMelIncredible. I really think he is the false prophet and we will soon see the eye of Osiris (antichrist) be revealed during this time. That, or it will be a ceremony to welcome him and he will be unveiled soon after this time.
+Scott Smith and One Point Preparedness, I work in center city and have inside sources that all of the construction that market street underwent was facial recognition technology as well as all steps to below the city for the EL, and trolley also have new signs that you can most definitely tell it is technology to take pictures or surveillance. Every pothole lid has been securely shut so you cannot open them. The amount of walking cops, homeland security cars/SUVs has almost tripled and the homeless are being pushed aside and made to throw out all of their belongings when what they carry with them is all they have. So basically once the pope leaves, we will now have this over zealous security in place. Every corner has 100s of porta potties, the fence has been put in place and so is the secret service check points. the red square you see past the 4 mile red line for the fencing is where the "Hub" of secret service will be aka the DEA office buildings are being shut down from Wednesday until Tuesday.. My daughter will be off from school starting Wednesday. They took away every solar trashcan and recycling, and replaced with regular mesh type trashcans. The highways all around Philly are being shutdown at 10pm I believe starting Thursday night. Flags are erected with Pope pictures and quotes, but have a label of a corporation who has sponsored the flag. Stores have signs, bobble heads, plush dolls, tee shirts, I've even seen teeshirts of the Pope wearing an Eagles Jersey. It is almost like the Pope is being turned into Mickey Mouse or a super hero.
+Scott Smith Just want to make clear that the line where it says "multiple scenarios are actively being discussed", I meant to say these scenarios are all being planned for but not necessarily will occur. Please forgive the lack of information.
