How to be Kawaii (Basic/For beginners)
This are just the basics on how to be Kawaii (Cute) i hope you like it and enjoy it(: *****I don't own this song! It's Swag It Out by Zendaya Coleman*****
Yup! for sure you can! I'm like that, tomboyish, but still there are ways
to be cute ;) 1.smile cutely and a lot 2. wear clothes of lighter
colors(though i wear black often ^^') with cute stuffs on them, like teddy
bears or something and you can pair that with baggy pants or jeans 3.have a
nice haircut, you can have a short cute haircut that accentuates your face
4. try to have the natural look(though normally they used a lot of
make-up), take great care of your skin, no pimples! 5. be yourself
Number 4 I do NOT agree with, all the women shown are wearing faces full of
makeup, and to achieve a dolly or kawaii look you need makeup, mostly false
lashes, circle lenses, etc. You can look however you want, though. But if
you want to live/look a cute lifestyle, I suggest getting into a Japanese
street fashion, like Gyaru, Hime Gyaru, Lolita, Fairy Kei, Mori Girl, etc.
Being "kawaii" is an expensive lifestyle, so you have to really commit to
it.
Bertha is right. If you go to Japan for a while you start to notice that
animes definitely look jap. The eye colour and hair colour is just to tell
the characters apart. No one has green hair or pink eyes. The proportions
are what make them Japanese, and the people who draw these manga reference
japs, they've hardly been outside of japan. I'm still baffled by the fact
that people think blonde hair or green eyes means that theyre supposed to
be caucasian. They hav jap names and take place in jpn.
l really don't see the argument either. They're supposed to be Japanese,
the settings are in japan, and they're made by people who live in japan. If
a japanese girl gets a blonde wig and green circle lens does that make her
caucasian? The shapes, size, bodily proportions, movements, and feel of the
characters are extremely japanesque. The characters in spirited away,
dragonball, k-on have mostly black hair and eyes. The look the same as any
other character otherwise, and they look very japanesque
What your saying isn't accurate. That's quite an ignorant assertion. You
can't assess what caucasian and Japanese people look like objectively. What
exactly do you think Japanese people look like? Do you think if the
characters had straw hats, buck teeth, and lines for eyes they would look
Jap? That girl is not an "isolated incident". Any Japanese woman can look
like that with makeup. lt's not the same for caucasians. Their eyes recede,
they don't have flat faces or big cheeks, skin type, etc
@JunmaiShu no Caucasian girls dont look anime. It doesnt depend on race but
more of genes I guess. Im asian I have anime face shape and hair but my
eyes aren't huge which I dont really mind. Caucasian girls in general do
have big eyes but their noee are too high and face shapes are too long and
delicate rather than small pointy and cute. In conclusion it really depends
on what features you have and im sorry but not all caucasian girls dont
look anime. They are very pretty though.
Once again, she is 1 isolated incident. As I go through my collection of
Ghibli films... over 95% of these characters look Caucasian to me. And that
figure is actually being kind. How about acknowledging this bigger picture
as factual instead of clinging to subjective sample sizes and skewing
things here. This is really a waste of time. You know what I'm saying is
accurate, but will never acknowledge it as such.
I think Caucasion looks more "anime" than Asian, because nearly all anime
girls have colorful hair and big eyes. The majority of Asians have dark
hair and small eyes, so it's easier for someone who's white to mimic an
anime style. And yes, while most Asians have smaller faces and noses, it's
not limited to just being Asian. There are plenty of Caucasians with the
same features :)
kawaii doesn't really mean cute, it can mean cute it's a rough translation
80 years ago kawaii just meant lovely or darling @MarieBanii it's not a
race thing... it's Japanese culture, not even all asian cultures. It's
actually harder for people outside of Japan to be "kawaii" because they
grew up differently.
Who cares where the settings are? This is about what nationality the
characters look like. And for every 1 you reel off where characters
actually look Asian, I can name 2 more that support my case. You're REALLY
reaching here to try to support your stance... but I think you know that
already.
lol, I visit Japan at least once a year for Tanabata, sometimes twice.
Again, have to wholeheartedly disagree. Sure they take place in Japan... it
is "Japanese" anime. But the characters look quite Caucasian. I really
don't see how this can even be (objectively) argued against.
Yes? What's your point?... using 1 example to base an entire stance around?
In general my stance stands up, and I think that's quite obvious to anyone
being objective. Most Anime characters look Caucasian. Arguing against this
point is a lost cause.
>3< I tried all the steps and I'm just not as kawaii as those pictures. I
giggle all the time and no one thinks it's cute. I wear the pink but it
just doesn't work for me and my hair is too short for piggy tails! I need
help ;^; please?
More like anyone being objective. I mean it's pretty obvious. Asian people
don't come with blue or green eyes, or light colored hair. Most Anime
characters look white. I really don't see how anyone can seriously debate
that point.
You dont have to be asian to be kawaii : being kawaii/"cutesy" is really
more of a lifestyle than what people think is an "act" (tho ppl try to)..
=^^= its not hard to develop the habits..
Well I guess :). I just think it depends on the genetics and the features
you have so any race can look like an anime girl as long as they have the
features, but i guess your right too ^^
The video is telling the truth, yesterday I viewed some info. about how to
be kawaii and is the same thing we need to do in the video, wear colorful
clothes and being a good people
Anyone can be Kawaii. You don't have to be asian or anything. Lol. Nor do
you have to buy specific clothing. Kawaii is about being cute. Buy whatever
you feel is cute. ^ ^
People say that im kawaii !! Not my face itssssss my shineCURLyHair only
dammit its natural though...and im wearing pink glasses too or u called it
a nerd hahaha
not really... l think u just want them to be caucasian... 1:10 does she or
does she not look like an anime character? She doesn't look caucasian at
all.
