I just commence my pharmacology unit this semester, its only week 2 and things are already starting to get fuzzy. i have been watching your videos to get myself over the concepts in this unit, i'm starting to have hopes that there is a potential that i may just be alright with a bit of push from your videos. you are a champ, much appreciated you enthousiasm and keen to help pharmac... students

I had a ques, in the graph, you showed that when given IV, all the drug is absorbed into the syst circu and the concentration remains constant with time, but instead of a straight line shouldn't it be a slope? Cuz the drug will be eliminated, so the plasma conc must decrease with time?

Hey Thank you so much! I have a question I don't understand how absorption is directly proportional to bioavailability. If more of the drug is absorbed less will reach the systemic circulation. If anyone knows the explanation plz plz answer me.

Hmm im not expert but I think you have it the wrong way around. If more of the drug is absorbed, more of it will reach the systemic circulation, not less. Which ofcourse makes a lot more sense yes? Cheers.
