+Thelana Mejia sorry for the multiple comments...just trying to make sure this is clear.Factoring the difference in two perfect cubes which this video covers is completely different from solving cubes such as (x - 8)^3 which is really just multiplying (x - 8)(x - 8)(x - 8). When the cube is outside the parenthesis you are raising the entire binomial to that power and cannot distribute the exponent to the terms.
