@LimitPushing This car does seem quicker than a typical V6 Mustang. I own a 2008 V6 coupe automatic with CAI, custom Tune and Dual exahust system and even my car doesnt run 6.4. more like 6.6-7 with my mods and a good launch.

@87Jaws Haha, I was stating that before there were even any tests on the car. It was just a guess at the time and I happened to be right. I didn't say "I think the new 2011 Mustang will go faster than this Mustang." lol

@rockerdude29 I'm not arguing with you that its unusual but the fact is that the 0-60 time for this car is 6.4 seconds and it repeated that time on two more runs. There was no other modification to the Mustang.

The 05-10 v6 mustangs had 210hp and 240lb ft so 6.4 isnt too bad. Its not all ab out peak power its how you make it. The 4.0 sohc destroys the 3.7 dohc in low end torque but suffers weak top end

@Alonshalev It really was and it was the base model. Bigger wheels but they definitely weighed a lot...still.....there was something about that engine. Too bad it hit a divider doing 70 mph.

@LimitPushing technically though there was an addition of new and better spark plugs not that it really makes much of a difference but I was just as surprised when I found out.

intake can do alot with a car like this, stock for a 99 v6 is 7 seconds, mine does it in about 6, with BBK cai, and a less restrictive exhaust.

nice videos,but theres no possible way just an intake can take half a second off 0-60. in that case,my car would be doing sub 5 sec 0-60s.

its probably the altitude. That makes a ton of difference. My mazda3 is rated at like 8.5. I can got 8.18 before sri and 7.9 after.

Not bad at all...I'm thinking when the new 2011 Mustang V6 comes out it'll go 0-60 in a little bit over 5 seconds.

Cold air intake don't do nothing and actually most rob more hp than stock configurations.
