I do try to use packages, but I don't honestly check them- I tend to get only objects and not scripting mods, took me years to finally test out the NRAAS mods, and while they can be quirky, I like 'em! I'll have to get Delphys after you suggestions. Thanks!And some mods can be bundled (I wish there was a way to create your own bundled package files out of what you've downloaded honestly). But for example I have a rook recolors mod that contains about 26 colors but is one package file, otherwise I wouldn't use it.

I'm really happy about that, too.So you install all your content via the launcher in Sims3Packs? Brave. I change all my Sims3Packs downloads to .packages. Since I do so, I never had a Corruption. But I recognized, that some Sims3Packs lots I changed into .packages files, had some empty packages inside. Even if the comments were full of positive feedback, for example. I couldn't have seen this with just the CleanInstaller. This is why I use Delphys. I can now delete those single packages out, which would bring my game to crash and can still use the lot and the furniture objects that are working.I also take care only to download CC from 2013 - today and 2nd; I only take featured artist creations.Though I think you're doing right, not to use to many mods/or downloads at the same time. And this is what I do love so much about mods/.packages files, because you can simply put them in your game and if you're bored of a any CC, you just take it out again. What I do for example: I'm really tidy with my mods folder too, as I have categories start from Teen Female, Adult female and then you know; MakeUp, Dresses, brabra - So when I'm playing my current household and their kids for example are just toddlers/kids, I take out the complete Teen folder. Just an example. Same I do with seasons clothing (Outdoor / warm clothing CC). I also do that with Lighting mods (from burntwaffles). So I'm switching mods folders all the time. And I think it's good for my game, because so I really do only have the stuff in my game I am currently using.

I've actually moved away from using too much CC, and I tend to stick to certain hairs styles etc. I also watch what I'm downloading, and when i want to try a new mod out I'm careful not to use anything in conflict and stay away from tuning, in general.I have had the occasional issue with mods not being updated- but that issue is largely going away as new Sims 3 content isn't being released from EA (thank God!). And I create separate folders for any mods I think may be an issue later.Your English is fine- I can only talk about cake in German (and I'm sure not spell it right)!

:) I totally understand you. (Btw; sorry if my English is not perfect, I'm from Germany and I know it's not perfect)Do you actually have/use these 3 programs I listed above? I see you're an LP. I know it's annoying if you're used to something (in this case just downloading and doing the 50/50 method), but once you'd have these programs, honestly, you'd stick to them forever, as they are the only option you REALLY can enjoy your Sims 3 game + your LPs. As every Sims 3 long time player I did not 'understand' my game that much, as I do now. And when sth got corrupted or glitchy, you know, I also had to uninstall and reinstall and brabra my whole game and downloads (I've got all EPs and SPs). Since I'm using the programs, I NEVER had to do this again. Because everything is more under your control, you know? Now I also feel like; "Uninstall and reinstall is for beginners", because you can fix it all. Actually I haven't had to fix anything recently, because of <3 Delphy Dashboard <3. :> It shows me if the .package file is ok BEFORE I start playing, so i never had trouble with my game since then.Greets :)

I guess it's better to be safe than sorry- I'm completely one who just gets fed up from time to time and deletes half of the CC I have to make my life easier, but I bet it's not working like that. I have a super long challenge I play too, so I'd do well to be more careful.

Pleasure :) When it comes Sims 3, you just can't be paranoid enough. I remember when I started playing (years ago) like anyone; just downloading stuff and HOPING it won't be bad cc, haha. Now I've Delphys, MultInstaller and CleanInstaller, too. I just thought it would be helpful for others to understand, how Delphys Dashboard works. Because I read from many people, that they see those conflicts and they'd just get rid of all downloads they love without knowing, that their downloads folder is just in conflict with the DC Backup folder because of 'dublicates'. :)I run Delphys Dahboard everytime after playing Sims 3. Once my library got corrupted. It just happens from time to time and it's important that you need to know it straight and not playing on with this crap in your game.Greetsx

+Loons E. Well I appreciate your suggestions, I always delete from that file as soon as I download new content. I've also keep my content low in general- although you know I haven't cleared cache in a while. I can do that.Aside from that, I have to assume it's Fraps? I just was asking about conflicts early because I wanted more clarity on what was meant in the video.Thanks though!

+Frog Snack His explanation in this video about Conflicts is not right. The reason he's having the Conflicts is because; Every download you install in the launcher, makes an backup of this file and it's located in > Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/DC Backup.You can see that this folder is full of .packeages files (as many as you have installed in the launcher).There also is another file: ccmerged.package - DO NOT DELETE THIS FILE.You have to delete all the other files.If you run Delphys Dashboard again now (Sims 3 folder) non of the files will stay in Colflict anymore.Conflicts from the same creator are no problem. As they are no conflicts.Good luck. :)
