I had a steer tire blow on me ,once maybe twice . First time I was heading home on a friday night,exceeding the limit of 55 by a few when I looked at my watch and saw I was going to be way early for momma to be picking me up,so I slowed down and not even a minute went by when boom,the tire blew. All this crap ran through my mind about what I should and should not do.I let it ride on its own until I had control then guided it to a stop. About a minute went by as I composed myself and I heard a crashing sound,looked out my mirror and saw this 6 wheeler tumbling and coming at the rear of my truck.I put my head in my hands and braced myself for a crash that just stopped short of my trailer. Exciting day in the life of a trucker.
