You're right in one sense.  Snow is not pure and never has been, because it requires a dust or dirt particle to start it's life cycle.  So in that sense you are right.  It's also kind of like how a flame, any flame, relies on combustion to survive, which in turn creates carbon, and other side products that when collected on snow, turns black as is congregates. Snow, is not a solid material, it has millions of pockets of air, and as you apply flame to it, most of the water turns instantly into gas, the other small amount is drawn inside the rest of the snow like a sponge.  Thus there is no dripping.  It's called science.

The problem is, however, just that: stupidity. I'm talking about the ones who have been corrected yet continue to argue from ignorance. It's difficult to get much dumber than that, even by YouTube standards.

Wow that's more than what we got, but it's supposed to start snowing again overnight with 2 to 4" for ur area, so that should bring us up to about a 12".

Man, Minnesota has had a couple big storms 1 being a month ago and 1 being today.

on Wed.we got 1ft.of snow here in the Falls,everyonewas snow blowing and even me.

In Saskatchewan the snow isn't so bad like this; nope we got to put up with -30
