The opening comments about the US debt are prudent, yet lack accuracy. Too many are misled into belief the budget deficit reflects the state of the nation. After all, Congressmen and govt officials from the nat'l, state & local levels all discuss it and declare its urgency to balance. This is a deception! The budget only reflects what monies is projected to be spent on projects and services. It does NOT reflect our financials, in which the debt is included. This is called the CAFR. Learn it.

Watch the video at the 3:30 mark. It receives all current NOAA weather channels between 162.400 - 162.550.

A very good description and actual reception test. A great video. This sealed the deal with an Amazon purchase. I also see all of the background radio equipment. :) You now have another subscriber.

Glad it was helpful Sam. My C.Crane Solar is used daily and functions perfectly and reliably for me. Alkaline batteries seem to last forever and even the little internal rechargeable pack will run the radio for a full day (at medium volume) before needing to be re-charged. I think you will be pleased with the receiver's performance. Thanks for subscribing!
