Got this storm beat. 1983 blizzard of queens NY. I was walking on northern blvd in a complete white out and wnds sustained at 50 mph. laguardia airport reported 5 INCHES AN HOUR!!!! we haven't had a blizzard in NY or new england for 30 yrs. Blizzard has 3 ingredients #1-heavy snow for 3 hours #2- sustained winds of 35 mph, #3- 20 degrees or BELOW. they missed out on the 20 degrees or below. Again these storms,since the 78 and 83 blizzard,have not qualified as full fledged official blizzards.

That satellite in front of the sun we saw was one of the MMS satellites. It was so cool seeing that!

Polaris looked amazing as we passed it by at speed, I called my best friend Jon, but the shmuck was high on weed. “You’re calling me from outer space? You’re up there in a ship? That was you I saw on SDO, not a flashback acid trip!” We landed on their planet and they put me in a zoo, it’s been a month, they treat me well, there’s nothing much to do, I still phone Earth quite often, they won’t rescue me until S0 builds a space ship or I pay my cellphone bill! 

I do not like when Mercury passes between Earth and Sol.

Howdy from Henry Virginia where it is mostly cloudy with a chance of rain later. The current temperature is 53°F or 12°C with a nice breeze. Our extended weather forecast is unsettled with showers and thunderstorms possible throughout the rest of the week. Today is a day of reflection for me as I think about my mom. The good days; the bad days and all those in between that defined us as a family. I'm just glad that I had time to talk to her; forgive her and make my peace with her.
