I disagree with some of your points in this video. First the idea that
changing up your routine helps is held by almost every single pro
bodybuilder ive seen, all of the best programs will only repeat the same
workout maybe 3 or 4 weeks in a row. Also losing body fat while gaining
weight is fairly simple if your routine promotes that. While doing kris
gethins new muscle building program on bodybuilding.com i gained 10 pounds
while cutting about 3% body fat. As long as you diet properly and train in
a way that promotes fat loss but not at the cost of strength. I can however
see why you have trouble with jeffs video because as far as i can tell he
presented the information in a misleading manor leading to
misunderstandings about his message. I should point out that i have not yet
seen the video so i could be wrong.
but its fairly common knowledge that that your muscles become used to the same resistance and tend to not break down as easily. If the movements are changed slightly then your muscles will be shocked into breaking down because they wont be used to that movement. Saying that bodybuilders are the way they are is because of drugs is simply not true, a lot of people take steroids and then train poorly which results in terrible physiques. All steroids do is allow you to stay anabolic for longer periods of time. its your training and diet that shape your physique. Progressive overload is good but the movement needs to be changed even just slightly every so often so that you dont start to plateau.
Yes probodybuilders can get away with it because there on shit tons of drugs and have really good genetics. The majority of people r going to benefit more from progressive overload
Thanx I wish lol.I gained sum weight and I like your dieting tips with working out of course. You don't make everything complicated. Were you really overweight before or is that just a fake pic of you.
That "keep your body guessing" he got from Arnold... Arnold said if you
feel like you've reached a plateau, you might want to change things up, and
i really agree with Arnold... Anyway i didn't watch Seid's Q&A nor i intend
to, but if Arnold said it, i will believe it xD... But love you videos
Matty.
Not only mature, but also with a scientific knowledge behind it. Im also studying this shiat and it always annoys me (sorry for my english im german, lol) when people are always like "Look at this dude, hes huge and shredded, he HAVE to know his stuff" ...
