Do you know if instead of using whole wheat flour, can you use rice flour? I have a gluten allergy, but I'd really enjoy these bars!!!!!

yeah, at my local store you have to go into the gluten free section to get oats. thank you for your help. I made these this morning, they were delicious!

+Madison Geddes Yes. oats themselves are always gluten free (because they aren't wheat) just make sure they weren't processed in the same factory as wheat. it should say gluten free on the package.

Hi Amy! I'm not a fan of Quest Bars. They're good reviews are a result of great marketing :)Typically, their main protein ingredient is nonorganic whey protein (very difficult to digest), the second ingredient is corn fiber (this is a big red flag), and they also contain a good amount of sugar alcohols. The ones I mentioned in this video are much better. One that I did not mention that is also wonderful, especially if you are looking for ones with higher protein: //www.dalesrawfoods.com/protein-bars Hope this helps! xo
